I see your point. Why spend on an older car with expenses going to repair than a newer where repairs should be a lot less or less occurring. Just a shame the lessons learned are hard hitting costs which affect heads in a big impact way.

Little off little on topic. What you think would be the best new tires for a 1/2 ton f150 that can go on and off road? It would need to be able to handle the weight of a full capacity 1/2 ton truck as well.

Wow I didn’t think i would get picked for this! These did not even come to mind on my search. Love the recommendations, it means a lot and love the Jalopnik community. I am truly considering them now. Everyone made some really great points and I may be checking that out the one suggested from Torch soon. :)
