Hey Tom, I was recently shopping a 2016 Golf R with about 9k miles (not a CPO) at an area “country club” dealer network. The as-advertised price was $37,500 and they refused to budge, saying somebody at some point would be willing to pay basically $1500 under MSRP for a used car, because customers in their network

These types of fees are pretty common with dealers in highly competitive areas. They advertise the lower price and get a customer from further away that doesn’t ask a lot of questions invested in the purchase. Once the customer drives down, they throw the recon fee into the transaction and hope that the customer won’t

I like the idea of Utterly Realistic Car Ads.

I know right?

Anybody who didn’t think of the association with Black Lives Matter and the attack that occurred at the anti Nazi rally in Charlottesville is to dumb to have the keys to a twitter account, much less be employed in a police department.

“Why can’t protestors protest where nobody can see or hear them!”

Ugh being an Oregonian even hearing about that shitshow makes my blood boil to this day. The Bundys are free-loading scum…I can’t believe they were allowed to keep playing their little cowboy game for so long, twice. Any other demographic group and they would’ve been doused with water cannons, rubber bullets, and tear

That’s not what they said. They said that the areas are full of them, not everyone in the areas is one.

Basically true the world over. Rural areas are almost by definition more xenophobic and conservative. The population is exposed to a smaller variety of experiences and have fewer educational opportunities.

So glad “Antifa” has emerged as the latest catch-all, bogeyman label to be slapped on anyone who disagrees with dumb racist mouth breathers. The moronic simplicity of “Libtard” has just become so tiresome.

“Why can’t protestors protest where nobody can see or hear them!”

Because you linked to “HotAir”? Here’s their About page.

Are you equating protest groups getting into it with each other with a GOVERNMENT ENTITY, ONE THAT PURPORTS TO MAINTAIN LAW AND ORDER, (Edit: my bad, rage stroke made me think it was the Sheriff’s office, but they did try to deflect like a bunch of fucking pussies) posting gross shit like the above?

“I don’t want to hurt anybody, but I’m happy to imply that anyone who inconveniences me when I’m in my car should die violently.”

I’m sorry, but you seem to have an enormous lack of understanding here.

I disagree, if only because you’re talking about an MMO: these games are meant to mimic real-world politics, alliances, and the like—and while it would be nice if everyone “behaved” within the confines of the game world’s rules, the fact is that alliances, friendships, and bonds will be formed “OOC,” as it were.
