Oh man...every once in a while, I get a deep and abiding urge to re—re-re-replay Rise of Legends. Such an amazing game with so much potential for sequels!

Asimov! Oh man...that’s one of my favorites. As Emerson said, “If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God which had been shown!” (Or not, as in the case of Nightfall.)

Looks like they can’t do either: “The 77-year-old bridge cannot be raised, because nearby railroad crossings would also have to be raised. The street cannot be lowered, because a major sewer line runs only four feet (1.2 m) under Gregson Street.”
