If anything’s possible, a Prius Prime’s battery is worth 91hp on EV alone, if the hybrid synergy was beefed up like a Camry or RAV4’s, it should be able to blend both the full battery output and engine output of 98hp. The bottle neck is the output of the inverter and motors.

A Coupé Rally Prius that looks like a 3-door Citroën C4? Yes please.

This is America 😒

A 2nd gen i3?

Talk to the Pentagon, so

They should be doing the rugged lipstick and lift on the Prius, for God’s sake. Many prius drivers hve already built up the RV conversion community and are taking that initiative to install lift kits. Toyota is missing out.

Thank God that somebody is thinking of taking over and shaking up this car market segment for small pickups. Hyundai is also so damn close into sliding it’s hybrid/Plug-in or even full electric guts into this appropriately sized pick up.

What do you mean with that? If the grid is 100% renewable which is the trajectory each year, you still end up with a car with far more capacity than it needs beyond shits and giggles. The best excuse I have for large +250 mile range battery packs is that the number of charging cycles and the C-charge rate it will

God, this has me rearing to go!!!!

The difference is in the wheels. I read other press releases that Citroën opted for “tall and narrow” profile 19" wheels that provides added pneumatic comfort, ride height along with lower road and wind resistance.

And Stellantis could really shove the hybrid mechanical gear of the Pacifica into every European car it has!

Then that house would need to be able to supply over 80kWh of energy in less than 10 hours to be generous. With also over 80kWh of home storage to know exactly that it's 100% renewable and grid independant. Unless you live in the PNW

24: crap, I already feel it setting in!

Call it your excess energy storage, use it to save on guzzling your fuel of choice! 😉

I remember how frustrating it was to see so many car reviewers such as Matt Watson repeat ad hominem that not plugging in a 3-series e was a simple no-brainer option.

I think that I should be stressed that not all hybrids are created equal. Particularly when “eCVT” hybrids like the Prius and everything from Toyota, Lexus and now Honda were so chastised by driver orientated reviews and journalists. A lot of that rubber bands feel has more to do with the fact that the small hybrid

Oil, Gas, Palm Oil, Soy, Beef, Timber, Water. They all have their similar drive factors.

Capitalism babay

Priuses still do the job well. Until the snow comes..
