I hate to say, but the closest thing I could think of is...

A Supriu. Please don’t call Peta, this may spics may as well be seen as gross abuse. But I dream fort a bullet proof hybrid that can off road, not have shit blindspots and make people think I’m a lesbian.

oh please, don’t.. show that.

And I can tell you that on behalf of all Prius drivers, it doesn’t fucking matter.

Jesus, I didn’t mean to get you all wound up, I thought this was Jalopnik.

It is, but it’s all transversed. Lexus is one example that just moved its LHD 90 degrees and slapped a prop-shaft to it.

Hybrid my ass. This is no where close to it!

Yeah, I think it’s a great distraction from the 48V system that clearly should not be called a hybrid. FCA has its Pacifica plug-in’s drive train for disposal, and for what...?

Oh fuck no. A 48v system? That’s not a hybrid. FCA’s Pacifica Hybrid was just rewarded by Wards for being one of the top 10 engines. It has the same 3.6L V6 (although an atkinson), 30 miles electric range, a towing capacity of 3600 lbs and a transmission as inherently bullet proof as a Prius’.
... It’s infuriating that

  • ‘‘Chevrolet Spark EV - Is a shit car that should have never happened compliance be dammed. Nothing on this list makes me happier.’’

    Yupp, no bias here.

Now hear me out.

If I was going to lazily name a car, I’d say just get a damn Prius for $3000 or less and get a battery balancing kit for $600. With drivetrain as reliable as a watch and the packaging of a mini-estate, there’s little reason to bitch.

However I am suggesting a 2012 or 2013 LEAF. Unless you can find one

Hell yeah, I’d be on this so fast!
Invest $600 in a battery balancer and you could theoretically drive this car for another 20 years or so.

These things, as well as the Prius, are becoming iconic old cars that were imapctful enough to alter car markets today. And they will appreciate.

Is no one going to talk about the blue Renault Avantime, anyone? That wasn’t a call back, was it?

Nissan can hear our thoughts, apparently, because they are planning on a 200+ mile Leaf for 2019

It’s fair game to point out how the LEAF falls short against the Bolt and Model 3, but it’s like scoffing at the mid-level trim car for not having all the features of the top trim. Not everything is TopTrumps.

The range will increase in the next year with a long anticipated 60kWh pack, without doubt. So by then, lets

Well... this would most likely just inherit the Chrysler Pacifica’s PHEV drivetrain, which is highly praised.

Nissan seems to be just responding to the criticisms it received 6 years ago for being weird.

People in 2011: THIS IS WEIRD, THE PUKE IS WEIRD AND IS SMALL, WHY CAN’T THEY MAKE A NORMAL GOOD LOOKING CAR LIKE THE NEW HYUNDAIS?

Us Now: BORING. EVERYTHING.

Well as it goes, be careful for what you wish for.

An aerodynamic spoiler definitely. Trailing it off like that would help reduce air friction as well as channeling the air to lessen air disturbance.

I’m already seeing discussion on that it’s a nice car, but is not value for money because as if it were TopTrumps. If it’s anything above $90,000, then the argument of bang-for-your-buck goes out the window...
Unless it’s completely daft like whe supposed claims of Tesla’s roadster...
