You’re in the majority, because humans are generally self-centered, and equality usually doesn’t matter til we personally get the shit-end of the inequality stick. Like, if you were actually in the minority, this shit would change overnight. You realize that, right?

The gender of the director is important because women are vastly underrepresented as directors. The more opportunities for female directors, the better the film industry will become.

Amazon really gets fucked up when the apocalypse comes.

My main demand for the next guy (or woman) who takes over DC entertainment: stop the character embargo & let Tyler Hoechlin as Superman return to Supergirl. He is too good to keep wasting & for all the show’s imperfections, it had a great sense of that character (both Clark AND Superman) and how to use him.

No way that would happen, esp with the name drops of Philip.

Yeah, Ice. He’s a comedian. That’s what they do. You’re reading an article about comedians. You should be used to this by now.

Chatham is distractingly beautiful.

I love the implication that Tran orchestrated everything from the moment he met Nick so that he’d end up in the backseat of Russell’s car.

Oh, what a glorious fucking over of Gavin Belson that was. And the fact that Jared had the ability to singlehandedly mold that assistant into an unhinged Pied Piper-obsessed slave makes me all the more terrified of him with each passing season.

“How would you like to die today, motherfucker?”

I PEACOCK B99!

Also, maybe the best reveal in television in recent years:

Your reaction reminds me of watching THE KNICK, especially some jaw-dropping moments from the second season. What passed for entertainment back in America circa 1900 was pretty messed up.

I think the part of the video that I find so compelling is that I’m fully aware that horrible stuff is going on in the background but even when I’m trying to I can’t focus on it.  I just keep getting pulled into the dancing and the “fun” and all that stuff.

Especially the end bit where you only glimpse him in the darkness as he is running until he and his pursuers come into the light.

In that they both stand on stage and tell jokes they’re certainly interchangeable.
