And most likely badly worn tires.
It’s also a flag that represents a society so lazy and evil that instead of hard work, it relied on free slave labor and the complete dehumanization of the slaves. Imagine having pride not only for being incredibly lazy but also treating other living, breathing, feeling human beings like livestock.
If I am going to spend a quarter million on a car, it most certainly is not going to be for an electric performance car, especially from a manufacturer and parent company with a history of quality issues with electrical components.
Nissan Tsuru - where the driver IS the crumple zone.
If you want a playful, unique-looking vehicle only for driving around town (and not the highway), the Wrangler is great, but it is bad at everything else. On the highway, it is terrible, even with modern all-terrain tires. It would be a great beach vacation car but that is about it. I had a fully-loaded 4xE a month…
I always considered the Versa one of those cars where you are better off buying a few years old Civic, Accord, or something else with more features, comfort, and performance.
V6 Chargers are getting pretty cheap and I have seen plenty with primer-colored and mis-colored body panels.
It’s amazing how far crash safety has come, even for basic economy cars. The newer Versa driver would have had a few bumps and bruises meanwhile, the older Versa driver would have had life-changing or life-ending injuries.
It’s much busier than Discos and Defenders for sure.
I would much rather have a restomoddded 100 series with a modern diesel under the hood (a B57 would be an excellent blend of torque and efficiency if it fits) and I’m sure you could source or build one for less than $75K.
Wow, I wasn’t aware of that. It’s baffling that a British company would create such a compromised vehicle for its home market. That hump would be a pain in the ass on longer highway drives and I am sure it would make legit offroading more challenging. I wouldn’t want to have to balance my body while also balancing…
The current model seems to be significantly more refined than the old ones and even the non-AMG is quick enough but I couldn’t imagine 5-10+ years ago spending six-figures for a military vehicle with nice leather seats.
I saw one of these in the wild for the first time last weekend and it is a bit of a head scratcher for me. While I certainly can appreciate a capable, durable, and rugged offroader and what is essentially slightly off-looking restomodded Landie, the high price, fairly low power, and terrible fuel economy make this car…
Yeah I have seen the rear seats in crew cab trucks and they are usually a disaster pit of disorganized tools and supplies. Kudos to the ones that keep their rear seats organized and neat.
I am referring specifically to body-on-frame truck-based SUVs like Suburban, Navigators, Wagoneers, etc. Cars like the Telluride and LWB Jeep Grand Cherokee are what I would consider large-midsize SUVs. The Telluride is 197" long which is close to a midsize SUV like a Grand Cherokee or BMW X5 whereas the truck-based…
I can’t imagine taking this offroad, let alone trying to make a 3-point turn or basic parking lot maneuvers. But hey, If you need to get your crew of 6 and their tools/supplies to a job site, this will do the truck.
This blows my mind, not just because these dealers are charging over $50K for basic economy cars and SUVs, but because there are some people who will actually pay close to these ridiculously inflated prices. I have been fortunate to own many great cars and have never once paid MSRP or higher. In fact, I have gotten a…
It’s very similar to the people who buy full-sized SUVs so they can look tough while driving solo 95% of the time but have that extra space for those two road trips they take per year instead of buying a compact or midsize SUV and renting a Suburban or minivan when they need the extra room. People tend to make…
Ooh, that photo gives me so much anxiety. All I can think of are those 30+ year old rusted-out F150's with sagging frame rails in the middle. I am sure this truck has extra reinforcement, but it just seems like it will deflect over time and regular truck use.
