I just looked up the civil case records and depositions were ongoing through the end of last year. I’m sure it will take some time but hopefully it will end favorably for the victims.

Dylan Arnold was charged and most likely got off with nothing more than probation.  After a quick google search, I wasn’t able to find any subsequent articles beyond when the charges were filed in 2021 but it looks like the civil suit is ongoing.  Arnold’s parents are wealthy ranchers so hopefully the victims can get

They do the same thing as everywhere else in the country - provide a show of force when required by government entities and to provide revenue to said government entities for traffic and parking violations. Just remember, the police are not here for our safety!!!!!!

This should come as no surprise given past build quality and technology integration issues of Heinrik’s previous creation, the Fisker Karma.

Sure, but that doesn’t change the sentiment that I don’t want to track a 194" long, 2.5 ton vehicle.

This is cool and all but I can’t imagine wanting to deal with coilovers in a family wagon, even one this fast and capable. I just can’t imagine tracking a car with a curb weight approaching 2.5 tons and despite the fact that it likely handles pretty well, it will eat through tires and brakes.

I used to fly 145s regularly on short-haul flights but they have become less common over the past several years.  The only downside of that airplane was is the lack of business class seating.  The 175 is one of my favorites since there is no middle seat and if I get a complementary upgrade, the business seats are just

O’Hare is essentially Labyrinth only without David Bowie and only crappy take-away food options.

I have been flying into CLT on a regular basis for the past several years and never found it to be that bad. Getting to the rental car area is pretty easy as is grabbing an Uber and security lines are never more than a few minutes, at least for TSA PrecheckThey have two large food courts that are centrally located

I too, like the smaller ones but when you get to an ERJ145 or smaller, head room is sometimes an issue, at least when standing.

What’s even more impressive, Recaro was able to cram a parachute into the thinner seat, at least for the ones that will be installed on 737 Max aircraft.

The Dutch really know their shit!

I came here to say the same thing about redundancy. I’m in real estate and typically like to have redundancy for things like chillers or other building equipment and that way if one goes down, I can avoid getting sued by an entire building of angry tenants who can’t use their 90 degree offices while they wait on

I’m not typically a huge fan of the police (love the band, though) but I am happy this went down. As an automotive and weekend track day enthusiast, it sucks that we often get lumped in with people who actively endanger the public, whether cutting lanes recklessly in traffic in a performance car or performing stunts

I guess when they first came out, a bunch of soccer parents in my town went out and got them since I recall seeing at least two or three in the school dropoff line.  This makes me feel a bit better.

It reminds me of the Kia Borrego which would have been a hit if it came out in the late nineties/early aughts when full-size BOF SUVs were accelerating in popularity. Instead, it was released when most competitors were switching to more space and fuel efficient unibody designs. ‘

Ok, that makes me feel a bit better. The GM big boys aren’t really lookers but they are well-established brands with loyal followings. I guess the Wagoneers I have seen are either small business-owned vehicles (ie 60% of the value goes back to the business owner as a tax credit) or are heavily discounted.

This is 100% spot on. I, too, do not need anything else to enhance my geekiness or awkwardness.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is the first car that comes to mind. First off, its hideous at any price, especially for a 6-figure car competing with the Escalade, Range Rover Heavy, X7, and others in its class. Second, why make it a Jeep? Sure, its the only passenger vehicle brand in Stellantis’ portfolio that is doing well

Anything greater than 60 seconds is better than what my household can achieve.
