I have a fully loaded XC60 T8 as a rental car right now and love how easy the satnav/infotainment system is to use but hate that there are only hard buttons for radio controls and not HVAC controls. It’s a pain to leave the nav screen just to set the windscreen defogger. The new BMW rentals (3-series and x1) I also

I don’t watch the news, I read the news and prefer to stick to publications that are unbiased if not a bit left of center. But thanks for making generalizations about me based on one post. The only things I enjoyed were seeing the expansive Chinatown, touring Alcatraz, and leaving to go to Napa.

I’m actually left of center but I just don’t get SF so thanks for making assumptions about me without knowing anything other than that I hated my trip to SF. I went there six years ago with some friends and was there for three days before heading to Napa and later on SD. I have no idea what it is like now but I can’t

Wow, what a complete and utter shitfest they have going for them out in SF. It has to be the worst major city in the USA right now and for the past several years. It’s bad enough that you can’t take more than a few steps downtown without having to dodge piles of human shit and that you have to live two hours away from

The photo at the top of the article makes it look like one of the rotors was disengaged by the fireworks but I am glad they just bounced off the hull and everyone was ok. That could have been much worse.

Maybe he should change his name from Speed Demon to Speed Dumbass.

Many may call be crazy but when I bought an E39 M5 almost four years ago, I thought it would be a forever car after a light restoration. While I had a great time restoring the car and making it feel like new again, I have grown a bit tired of the car. It is one of the best looking sedans ever made and the interior

If price wasn’t an issue, why not go for a Zagato-bodied Aston Martin, with its double-bubble roof for helmet space?

All those modifications should add about 50 hp which is a huge gain for a light car like the CX, especially if they added a park bench spoiler on the trunk. I would have kept it as-is...

Even the most skilled, daring, Isle of Man TT riders cannot control the actions of others. The only way remotely safe to ride that fast and aggressively is on a fully empty divided highway.  I could never justify anything approaching that behavior in a car or bike unless I was on a closed/controlled road or race track.

Asshatery on a motorcycle can be just as dangerous, especially at higher speeds - just because the motorcycle and rider are under half a ton, with enough speed it can still create plenty of problems. The truck that this guy initially hit was almost knocked on its ass due to the force of the bike and the tall ride of

Pilots are an interesting lot. In many ways they are extremely capable, resourceful, and responsible. But every now and then I experience something a bit off about them. I was on a flight for work shortly after COVID vaccines were rolled out and people started to travel more and sat across the aisle from two off-duty

Of course this selfish arse calls the incident an “accident” and not a collision or crash which is what it was. An accident is if a deer runs onto the road and you swerve to avoid it and hit another vehicle or stationary object. I hope he is never allowed to get on a bike again, or to drive a car for that matter,

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time LEOs used false evidence to support their narrative.

I don’t think the bZ4X is a good comparison to the Prius. The Prius is the quintessential hybrid car while the bZ4X is not really competitive with other vehicles in its class. Let’s compare Prius sales to Teslas or Kia and Hyundai EVs (the ones I actually see on the road) for a more accurate result.

You are correct about the Z - it comes in at around 3,500 lbs and the Supra comes in at around 3,400 with the I6 engine. It looks like you can get a Z for somewhere between $40K to $50K which is a good bit lower than the I6 Supra and a price range that I can wrap my head around for a weekend sports car.  But with the

The FD RX7 was the best-looking sports car of the nineties (and possibly of any modern car) and coupled with its incredibly light weight (2,800 lbs), it also weighed significantly less than its competitors which were all well over 1.5 tons. I would love to get my hands on a still fairly lightweight, great looking

My dad had a few Miatas (NA and ND) back in the day and it was always funny to watch him (6'-2", 250 lbs) and my even larger brother (6'5", same weight as dad) drive around together with their heads sticking out of the roof and my brother’s knees well above the dashboard. It didn’t have useable cupholders or storage

Mazda has so much potential to become a performance-focused premium brand capable of competing with other premium brands (Acura, Infiniti, Volvo, etc.) as well as performance-focused luxury and ordinary car buyers. I was very pleasantly surprised when they announced the development of the longitudinal/RWD-based

This is not a huge surprise on either count. It is sad that they would rather just “solve” a crime without really SOLVING a crime, whether for political purposes or to keep society at bay.  I bet it is getting harder and harder to cover up evidence, though.
