My child isn’t getting close to dogs - she actively tries to stay away.  The problem is with dog owners who either aren’t paying attention or have no control of their dogs and allow their dogs to come near her.  I usually step between them to avoid contact but shouldn’t have to do that.

Between the grandma/grandpa beige exterior color (seriously, all of my grandparents’ cars were some sort of gold/beige from the late 80's through mid aughts) and the 80's luxury car wood interior, crackpipe all the way.

My 5 year old, while sweet and fun-loving, for whatever reason does not like dogs. It is pretty fucking annoying when I have to shield her from having a strange dog rub up against her and lick her face because the owner isn’t paying attention, doesn’t keep it on a tight enough leash, or even worse, has the dog off

I like dogs but when I am just trying to eat or shop, the last thing I want is a dog licking my ankles or rubbing up against me. Especially a stranger’s dog with dubious hygiene (my childhood dog was fond of rolling in deer shit and while I would scrub her down every time that happened, not every dog owner is as

Can we also agree to leave non service  dogs at home when shopping for food?  The last thing I want is to have my ankles or produce licked by a dog when trying to get my groceries for the week.

Sure, tell that to my doc, Nick Riviera MD.

They look nice but at double the price of a nice set of polarised Ray Bans, they are a bit overengineered for my purposes.

What’s next?  Are they coming for my emotional support honey badger as well?  He gives the best kisses!

Holy shit, when Bubba got hit with that chair I was in stitches! Honorable mention goes to the guy in the blue shirt swimming in slow motion.  I’m a slow swimmer but that guy looked more like he was drowning his way towards his intended destination.

I live in NJ and about 45 minutes from the PA border.  When I see a PA car on 78, or any other road, I assume they are either a) on meth; or b) in a hurry to buy meth from their dealer and try to stay completely clear of them.  PA drivers are like the FL drivers of the mid-atlantic.

I’ll take 110 degrees of dry heat in AZ over 110 degrees and 95% humidity in Texas or Lousiana any day.

With a $25K budget, I would buy a GC Impreza coupe with a good body, a wrecked 2nd-gen STi, and graft the innards of the STi to the GC. The parts required to make that work and look good might stretch the budget beyond $25K but not by much.  I have always wanted a car that looks like a 22B and seeing as they are

I came here to say the exact same thing.  I have been in NJ for seven years now and make trips to MD, DC, and VA at least once or twice a month and the pumps at the rest stops on the NJ Turnpike have long lines from the morning rush hour through evenings including most weekends.  Meanwhile, in DE and MD, you can just

People won’t even change lanes to pass slower cars in some parts of the country (PA, I’m looking at you) and will tailgate dangerously instead of doing so. Most people are pretty incapable of anything but basic vehicle operation (and general problem solving).

I find it pretty ridiculous (but not surprising) that the by the next day, the city had already issued the victim a ticket for public dumping, thinking that someone would defile their own property with such a huge pile of tires without further investigation.  I am glad the city ultimately took care of the issue but it

I have a brand new 330 rental car right now and I am amazed at how much of a swiss army knife it is. The power delivery is a bit odd (it takes some hefty pedal application to get the thing moving outside of sport mode) but it manages to feel quick, sporty, and nimble, has a great interior and tech package, and has

The fine should be $20K+ per modified vehicle instead of a flat fine and the proceeds should go to a legitimate fund that benefits the environment.  That would help to make things right.

Most people lease vehicles in this class so long-term reliability and residual values don’t matter as much. And if you maintain a BMW properly, they really don’t cost much more to maintain than a Japanese premium/luxury car. Source: I have a 2014 X5 and 2002 M5 each with 130,000+ miles and they barely cost me more

It was a few years ago so it could have been a different base engine or maybe it was the CVT that made the car feel slow. I recall the car was severely underpowered for overtaking on the highway as in I had to mash the gas a few seconds before attempting the pass to get enough momentum going to surpass 65 mph.

I’m driving around in a brand new (500 miles when I picked it up from EWR) 330 x-drive rental which was $33/day before taxes, of course.
