This is refreshing in a world where a compact M2 weighs nearly two tons.

I was thinking the same thing. I would totally hit this if it had a PHEV drivetrain to cruise around town in all electric comfort. A turbo-4 (the one they use in the Lex IS and NX)) would be a much better matchup with a larger electric motor and battery.
While driving or being a passenger in India is a terrifying and chaotic experience, there is an order to that chaos. A four lane road somehow fits twelve cars abreast and a few additional scooters and autorickshaws and throw in some random pedestrians but I have never once seen a collision or a pedestrian get hit. You…
You got a much better deal and I like the look of the C40's sloping roofline. And yes, the A7 still has the retractable spoiler. It is pretty sweet and I have to admit I played with it a bit too much in my first few months of driving it!
Yeah, that deal on the XC40 recharge is terrible. I am paying in the low $700s for an A7 PHEV with about $3K down and the MSRP on the car was nearly $80K. My guess is that a decently equipped XC40 RC is around $60K so that’s really not a great price.
I totally get it. People love the idea of appearing rugged but don’t want to actually be rugged. Now that the Bronco is around, I have seen more Raptors and Wildtraks with knobby tires and high ride heights in the city and wealthy suburbs than at the beach and near the trail. I guess it’s no different than the…
Oh, I definitely have experience with. My dad “secretly” smoked but would pick me up in his car from school or practice and it would wreak of cigarette smoke. I’m sure the 80's and early 90's GM fuzzy cloth interiors’ uncanny ability to trap 100% of the smoke particles was partly to blame but he had no idea it was so…
I was talking to my father-in-law yesterday about the Mahindra Roxor and Thar and how many American Jeep fans were excited about an OG wrangler that is small, simple, and capable just like the original. This is in comparison to the Modern Wrangler which feels like a luxury vehicle by comparison and the $40K+ sticker…
I actually like the new GC, especially the interior which is a step up in terms of luxury and design but the Wagoneer is one fugly motherfucker! It manages to look like a different (bad) car from each angle.
It’s ok, customers will just borrow more which should be fine given the ever increasing interest rates, right?
#2 - Spot on! I don’t want to smell a smoked-out interior and I certainly don’t want to smell like smoke when I get to my destination. The only thing worse is when they use #1 to try and cover up the smell and then you’re stuck smelling like smoke AND Drakar Noir for the rest of the evening.
I find that most rideshare drivers are terrible drivers which is ironic because that is their job. When Lyft first came out, my SO and I lived DC and decided to give it a shot to get from our home near RFK stadium to meet some friends for dinner downtown. Right after picking us up, the driver rear-ended a late model E…
I would definitely consider an old Defender, Landcruiser, or G-Wagen from the 70's/80's - I see diesels pop up on BAT from time to time.
Unfortunately I have interacted with enough humans to think otherwise.
I am sure they will cite the claims of a few racist fringe “scholars” despite the fact that a majority of scholars (99.99999%) disagree.
The last time I went to a live race (one that I was not part of, at least) was the Baltimore Grand Prix (ALMS and Indy) back in 2011 and I remember the prices being fairly affordable.
Seriously. This is like when a person or business signs a lease with very clear terms and conditions and then tries to get out of it later on when they realize they are responsible for certain maintenance and other items. They had so many opportunities to intervene and it’s too late!
This could have been a nice price without the body kit which looks unfinished to say the least. The widebody fenders are poorly integrated with the rest of the body work, especially up front and of course the tacked-on side skirts are poorly integrated with the rear fender extensions. CP all the way.
That’s an awesome idea! Now I have to research inline-6 diesels and figure out which ones can fit up into a hacked up F15 engine bay.
If he is brazen enough to publicly defend his pro-slavery curriculum and cite “scholarly evidence,” I can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors.
