And how do you decide who gets first chance at buying that upgrade?

You have obviously never flown RyanAir. Any economy airline out of the UK treats you like a turd in the punchbowl. Unless you pay extra. Then they will serve you the turd in the punchbowl.

Not so. I’ve been upgraded several time on International flights to 1st Class. Free jammies and they tuck you in.

This. Exactly this.

I personally cannot recall the last time I saw a flight take off with an empty seat in 1st/Business. Why? Because if they are undersold then they go to frequent flyers. And there has to be a few lowly Silver Medallions back in economy. Back in the day I was upgraded 95% of the time because of my flyer status even

I’m not trying to say they are all deals. But it is my opinion that you will find more vehicles and the potential for deals in that format than what you can find scanning CL and the classifieds today.

I was involved in a small film shoot that utilized a full-on BTTF replica. It was interesting but that was pretty much its sole purpose for living. CP

I nearly bought a 1st Gen when they were introduced in the US. But the dealer network (MB) treated prospects like shit. On top of the awful transmission that never got properly fixed. And then I bought a 2014 Smart ED. Loads of room, a hoot to drive and no crap tranny. It fit my needs perfectly. While my needs have

She’ll buff out.

The trouble with CL and classifieds is that they are rife with dealer listings for stuff they are unloading at too high of a price. Or auto auction flips. And CL dealer listings end up utilizing so many tags that sorting by type/brand/model is essentially useless. Private sellers do not often use Autotrader, and if

Actually, my EV recommends not driving below 15% SOC as this causes more long term harm to the battery than charging it to 100%. The warning lights in the dash go crazy with warnings when you get to 20%. Now a 130 mile range is actually 110 miles, or 55 miles in round trip. Add in heating or A/C and you can at least

Nope - they were just repeating an old trope and being a snob.

I thought that only applied if you lived in The Villages.

I think what you overlooked in this assessment is that ever since the mid-to-late 60's that the primary audience for Harley’s have been Boomers. They were just young Boomers. Those rough & tumble dads of your youth were/are Boomers.

While the image of a Harley rider has evolved over time, it has not evolved into an image that resonates with the youth of today. “Rough-riding” accountants, bankers and lawyers are the primary audience for a new Harley purchase. Or a renegade Boomer flush with 401k cash.

Thrashed a rented Fiat Punto over the Alps to Glorenza and back. Too early in May, so the Stelvio was not yet open. But still a tremendous drive. And a great little Punto.

Exactly my point - it is why these rankings are really pretty useless.

I’d rather drop $5k on hookers and blow.

Agreed. Being cast in a movie and being the star of the movie are two very different things. I’m certain there are non-SAG extras that have more box office than SLJ.

Sounds like the old Mercedes campaign to make people forget what crap they were in the 80's.
