Tax penalty? No, especially if you are putting in funds that have already been taxed. You should look into the rules of the various IRA’s to determine which might be best. And I always pay more on my mortagage as well. Simply because I can. Usually an extra $100 a month.

As a driving enthusiast I can see how Driven is unwatchable. For climbing enthusiasts Cliffhanger has the same effect. Vertical Limit is a very close second.

May I make a suggestion? Unless you have a high interest rate on your mortgage (>4.5%), you would be better served by using that “double payment” as an investment into an IRA. You’ll earn far more typically from that than whatever you may save on interest over the life of the loan. Plus you will have liquidity rather

Hmmm...I think the dollar amount is highly subjective. First, decide on how many months you want to have as a stand-by. Then figure your basic monthly expenses and multiply by the number of months. And I cannot overstate the need to buy down all credit card debt in advance of (or in conjunction with) savings.

SWFL - the home of pickleball. Don’t play, haven’t watched. But these oldies here are so thirsty for it.

Yeah - I have a family member (not blood) who has an array of cheap ink. Their body looks like a 7th graders Trapper Keeper at the end of the school year.

Driven is to racing as Cliffhanger is to mountain climbing.

Even with “true life” movies, they are still movies and you have to suspend disbelief. They have to tell a story. Hell, “Judy” completely glossed over a whole husband, but who cares?

I’m more in awe of the financial decisions made in investing in that level of body art.

Considering that he purposefully did this, the NFL responded appropriately.

That’s what you get for buying tickets in the El Chapo section.

THIS ^^^. Asian and/or International markets are far better with variety and pricing. Shopping at TJ’s just means you are going to have to go to Ralph’s or Safeway to get the rest of your stuff.

You can find new VW Sportwagens with a manual still.

They need to update the schooner.

With a Gaggia, you can use their expensive descaler or use a vinegar solution. And keep in mind the “descale” notification on these are basically on a timer. Descale as needed, not when told. And I would never recommend using soap for cleaning any coffee maker.

As a Delta (and former Northwest) flyer, I’ve had nothing but stellar experiences with Delta over the past 20 years and over a million miles. The only 2 glitches: A “cancelled” flight out of St. Louis probably because I was the only passenger booked. The second was more Al Italia’s fault for cancelling a flight,

Hmmm...I’m going to go against the grain here and say that tipping most certainly is a reward system. It is all based upon the quality of service received, the ambience and the quality of food. It is not based upon my need to directly contribute to the fair hourly wage that a server and back room staff should receive.

Thanks. I always tweak recipes to suit my mood, style or what ingredients I actually have on-hand!

Let’s see them try and climb this once we shoot them in the legs!

I agree. Can we get some clarification on the soaking time, please?
