I’d argue that you can definitely hate Toyota and be a car enthusiast. Car enthusiasts enjoy cars because they’re fun to drive, interesting, fast, gratifying, and many other adjectives, and Toyota, for a very long time, didn’t produce cars that were any of those things. Toyota produced cars that stood directly against

Shudda done it in a Model T... better articulation.

I’m not sure that its value is mutually exclusive with its off-road capabilities. It looks the way it does, and is as simple as it is because of its off-road capabilities, and that’s a considerable portion of what makes it cool, right? Rarity might also have a factor in its price.

I really want to know why you got your hands on a Defender and didn’t test it off road. If you couldn’t have tested it off-road (which is entirely plausible), then you should have said so.

I’d be really surprised if Ford was the only manufacturer who bought a Model X.

    RIP Pilots :(

Probably location. Anyway, horsepower is irrelevant because even the heaviest Fusion is six hundred pounds lighter than the Charger R/T. 55 horsepower and 50-ish lb/ft of torque can’t mitigate that difference.

Admittedly I forgot about the Charger, but in actuality, you can’t get the base SE or the SXT with the hemi. But, the R/T with the 370hp hemi is $790 more. Also, since the Fusion uses forced injection it will be easier to tune compared to the NA Charger, making more power easier to attain with the Fusion.

I’m real happy that Ford did this, but I can’t help but think that a turbo V6 (or is the 2.7 twin turbo?) is a little underrated at 325hp.

I applaud the effort in getting more people working on their cars themselves, but anything related to brakes should be reserved for advanced wrenching.

    MPG: TBD

    Don’t care, still want.

To be completely fair, 50fridge said “weight does not matter”, which every car guy/girl knows is bullshit.

Thank you! That would bother the crap out of me. I think I’d wait for a second gen M2 (or buy a 2017 Mustang GT350).

Porsche might have a few words with you, specifically 911 Turbo S.

Motor Trend is slipping further and further into the shitter for me. This doesn’t help their slipping that started with Motor Trend on Demand. It’s a shame too, because I actually like the hosts of their internet shows!

You should share those drugs you’re taking. They must be fantastic.

They called those amazing door handles “odd” and they didnt mention the side view mirrors being “held” by a chrome fixture.

I think its hilarious that people crap all over Lincoln because it doesn’t have suicide doors, or because of this or that; yet, the same people get all wet in the pants at the thought of Hyundai making a luxury brand.

This is “quiet luxury”, not “tear your face off German luxury.”
