They look good on this Beetle for the same reason they look good on a 1960's Thunderbird: retro styling.
Definitely NP. The pictures on the CL ad look fantastic and its interior looks super clean, even compared to new cars. I wish I needed a car. :(
Plasti Dip is surprisingly durable. And if it does get torn or peeled off, just peel off the rest, and respray with another can. NBD
True. Pompous isn’t exactly quiet, haha.
The Bentley Mulsanne and the RR Ghost essentially accomplish the same exact tasks - opulent luxury without the rush ze Germans have. But Bentley does have the Continental GT, whereas RR has no such competitor.
Rolls Royce is the only company that still sells old-school American style luxury. The one problem is that no one can afford it. Lincoln can be that company to give a Rolls Royce-like ride to the masses and I think they can do it.
I was pretty thoroughly disappointed in the new Continental after last year’s beefy Bentley-esque concept.
I think it’s safe to say that you could get the Continental with its AWD and Fire-breathing V6 for the same money as a base Audi A6, which has a puny four cylinder and is only FWD.
No. You’re thinking of every new Mercedes sedan. This shares the new grille, and that’s it.
The writing technique for that website is terrible. If they can’t get their English right, I have low expectations for their ability to get credible sources.
Most cars of that era were “known” for V8 RWD configuration.
I just heard angels sing!
You’re not going to convince me that Acura with their aggressive and stupid beaks, and Infiniti with their absurd styling are going after the cushy luxury crowd.
That 3.0L Ecoboost in the MKZ makes 400 lb/ft of torque.. Being down 20 horsepower isn’t as big of a deal as having 17 lb/ft more torque.
Im really surprised they’re using the same emblem they’ve used in the past for “Genesis”.
Would you buy this or the Lincoln Continental?
Thank you. Came here to say that.
