They did. The photo of the production car is throwing you off.

I think its the angle of the photo that’s throwing you off.

Ugh. The iPad + superglue touchscreen business needs to stop.

You should see Top Gear’s coverage of the Honda FCX Clarity they did a few years ago.

I should explain that driving on an Interstate for miles and miles and miles in a straight line isn’t driving; not really. It’s actually the antithesis of driving, the kind of driving that most non-enthusiasts associate with the act of driving which makes them hate cars.

They call the volt a plug-in hybrid for a reason. It has EV qualities, but it still has an internal combusion engine.

Answering this question with “a hybrid system” is similar to me answering the question “How do you breathe?” with “air.”

At least the touch screen hasn’t been forgotten and super glued to the dash like the C-Class’ touch screen.

These floating rear reflectors bother me. BMW does it too and they’re all hideous. I wish they’d work them into another element of the car, like into the lights or between black plastic and the body-colored bumper cover.

I think it looks great and is a car that Lincoln despirately needed to produce. Sure, a lot of the features that were on the concept aren’t on the production car, but one aspect that I really feel like they botched is the tail lights. It should have been a continuous flow of red, uninterrupted by chrome or other

    Not even close.

    That better be real wood..

Honestly, they should shoot for Lexus.

This is an enormous waste of space.

    Sex. In. A. Box.

I wonder how many Stimpaks are in there...

I’m no engineer, but this seems like poor placement for both the intake tube and the cat. Not sure why they did this, but wouldn’t it be better if the intake side of the turbo went *over the engine* to keep the air cool?

The Focus ST makes prett decent intake noise.

Is it just me or did they try to turn the front of that car into a 944...
