A very good friend of mine passed away yesterday from cancer. He was a kind, hilarious man and a great father of three young children.

I feel for his family, and his death was a tragedy.

There are decent ways to raise farm animals. You can argue that killing something to eat it is morally wrong, but not all livestock are tortured, and the purpose of raising livestock is not so that they can suffer for our amusement.

Nobody’s joking about this guy’s death. On the contrary, we want to prevent stupid ways to die, like this one. This is an archaic practice of torturing animals for human enjoyment. There is no justification for bullfighting or this guy’s death. Not tradition, not culture, not art. It’s barbaric and it must stop NOW!
