Ah yes. I get the same comments. Mines a 300c with full tint. Although here in Calgary. 2 kinds of people drive a 300. Old retirees or drug dealers...

When I was 16, my parents very graciously gave me their 12 year old Volvo 245. It was light blue with a dark blue interior with vinyl seats and a banging stereo (my dad is an audiophile). It had the Virgo wheels with really nice Michelin tires. This was the car I grew up in, so I was naturally in love with it.

The hell does that have to do with anything?

You missed an opportunity to use this headline:

Good in the dirt? You should try it in the snow. It does donuts like no other.

At some point in history, gas stations were scattered around the country like current charging stations.

Great Scott!

What is this heavy? Is there something wrong with the Earths gravitational force in the future?

I traded a refrigerator compressor for my first car, a 1963 Corvair. He got cold beer, I got hot trash.

Difference is you GET to dispose of Neons. The GM J-platform cars self-dispose.

I’m Minnesotan, so I don’t use my horn. I stare at them passive aggressively and talk about them after they leave.

My old, 25 horsepower Subaru 360 used a lawn tractor battery and that, combined with a weak generator, meant that the battery would always die in very cold weather. So, in the winter, I would disconnect the battery and bring it inside with me if the car was going to be parked for a while. College classrooms, my job,

My 1958 Belvedere consumes the souls of Jason Torchinsky’s enemies until the coolant temp reaches 95˚C.

STI’s power steering pump moans like a B list porn star.

I can’t disagree, but I still see more of those than I see Neons of this or really, any vintage.

Excellent points; not to mention that most of us are commuting long distances every day. Performance and handling aren’t really anything to worry about when you spend 90% of your time on the highway and on the weekends, are going to Target and the grocery store. Sedans are next to useless—I loathe my wife’s Focus

I think car manufactures are overemphasizing the demand for height and just downplaying the issue of storage. This is less of a Crossovers is king issue than it is a lack of hatchback cars issue. Wagons WERE UGLY but the new hatchbacks are super nice looking and there’s no reason they can’t carry over that styling to

That’s because Ford never offered the wagon or hatchback versions here like they do in Europe!
