The reason seats seem more tight now a days is because of moron passengers. Just assume each and every person in your park is going to try and kill themselves. I used to work on a Log Flume in high school and I saw a boat / log full of kids standing up on the ride while it was going down the chute.

I worked at Six Flags in the late 90s. I have lots of stories of people and workers being injured. I even have a few scars from my time working rides.

I don’t care much if there is stock on the lot or not.  However, before I buy the Maverick hybrid or otherwise I want to take a test drive.  Kick the tires, flip the switches, test acceleration.  Once I’m satisfied then I’d place an order.

We need lithium to get off fossil fuels. It needs to come from somewhere. At least until this invention works.

Dug my last retaining wall trench by hand through clay and never again. If this guy has enough power to dig into clay I’d rent it for my next one. Being electric I’m guessing it is quiet enough it wouldn’t wake the neighbors on Saturday morning.

I’m going to play a bit of devils advocate for the sake of discussion. Before I start, I think the ban on the swim cap is ludicrous.

Like others have said this truck thing is a replacement for the displaced Focus, Fusion, and Fiesta drivers. They couldn’t be more right. I have a 2015 Focus that gets around 17k miles a year. When ford dropped that line I was forced to start looking at other brands for something efficient and cost effective. For me

4' x 8' sheet of plywood or foam insulation.  Granted this guy would need the tail gate down and the load strapped from falling out the back but it is something my wife’s minivan can’t do easily.  Bags of mulch in the back of a minivan is just asking for a mess.  Truck bed = who cares.

I always refinance my cars after the initial purchase. Most places give a $1000-$2000 rebate if you finance in house and hold the loan for 3-6 months.  After that I call up my local State Farm Bank rep and refinance.  They do all the work and I roll into the insurance office a few days later, sign a few papers, and my

4 feet does seem small however it can hold a 4'x8' sheet of plywood flat with the tailgate down and some ropes. For the few times a year I need to move that material it would be nice to have the option. With a bed 4' long it keeps the total length to 200 inches which means I can fit it in my garage. I’d much rather

I always wanted an Explorer Sport Trac. I don’t need extreme towing capacity but a bed to haul crap to the dump or a load of mulch is very much useful. I could have bought a truck but the price tag and mpg doesn’t jive with my 60 mile round trip commute. This light truck getting 40 mpg will beat my Ford Focus and

I liked my Wii U. Thought it was a great idea and well enough executed. I used it a lot for playing games on the couch while the wife watched tv.

I live a few miles from where this happened and it is a fairly high mortgage part of town. If a car is going down this road they’re high mortgage too.

For once Missouri isn’t at the top of the list.  Sure we have a few stinkers for bridges here an there and a few pooptastic side roads but the major arteries are in good if not great shape most of the year.

2000 Toyota Corolla. Bought it used with 18k miles and at 106k it limped out of my garage. The car ate front brake pads. Tires always out of round. Replaced the MAF 6 times. Near the end it took 1 quart of oil per tank of gas. I hated that car but I was in a time of my life where new brake pads and a Saturday were

Not a scientist. Just play a lot of Kerbal Space Program. Will the extra weight have a measurable effect? Yes. In real world execution not so much. All rockets have safety margins for fuel and thrust in place. Space X rockets can lose an engine on ascent and the craft automatically recomputes burn times based on 8

Same.  It’s a guilty pleasure like Double Stuft Oreos.

True. He doesn’t remember a bit of it. In my opinion don’t go to a Disney park unless your kids can make it a day without a nap. They will still need a nap but they won’t melt down if it comes an hour late.

I borrowed one of these a decade ago when the family took a trip to Disney and I had a 2 year old in tow. FYI don’t bring 2 year olds to Disney. I digress.

Back in college my 1990 Corolla oil light came on. I was a dumb ass kid and had no clue what the issue. My father diagnosed the issue over the phone. The crank case seal had failed and was shooting oil all over the side of the engine.
