And our world hung in the balance, for two entire hours, and we didn’t even know. That’s scary, man.

Pssh. If you REALLY were involved with the Senate, you would be pushing to get them to stop with the insignificant crap like the debt ceiling and start on something meaningful, like a Thanks of Congress for Pinkham.

At first I was like “Ohhhh, Pinkham is gonna take us all out of the greys”! and then I was like “Who cares about being grey now? I don’t care at all about Gawker now that Kitchenette is gone. Fuck Gawker.”

Sorry to hear that! Hope you land on your feet too!

I wholly support this movement.

The Guardian website has this lovely, slightly passive aggressive notice that pops up discreetly at the bottom of the screen when you visit with your ad blocker on: “We have noticed you are browsing with an ad blocker. Perhaps you would care to support the Guardian in some other way? [click here to donate].” Very

(long story, I am having a hard time figuring out if it was my fault or if I was just a scapegoat.)

Pinkham - I’ve been a fan since your UberTrout days. You’re one of the best things that happened for this site. As for GM, I think I may be wrapping it up too (Along with the trolls, I was tossed back in the greys about a month ago. Still not sure why.)

BCO was in real trouble there. For about two hours.

In my most fervid dreams, Gawker folds about 6 months from now, its comment boards riddled with trolls vainly trying to get a rise out of each other, turning Denton’s dream of building a neater, sweeter, more derivative repackaged Vox that he can sell to pay the Hulk Hogan settlement to ashes.

I’ll be there under my Disqus nick. I’m not fond of Wonkette either, but the worst they (or their ad server) can throw at me isn’t as bad as missing my weekly BCO.

This is what I’m worried about—even if Pinkham picks up elsewhere, what will become of this awesome community? What am I gonna do without Steakback Outhouse, Land of Appropriate Pastrami, and of course, Pinkham’s Law?

Starting next Monday, November 30, the series will continue on Wonkette.

Anytime you can get rid of one of the highest regularly trafficed posts on your media platform you have to do it!!!

How it actually went:

This will be the last Behind Closed Ovens to appear on Kitchenette. It will not, however, be the last Behind Closed Ovens. Starting next Monday, November 30, the series will continue on Wonkette. If you’d like to read more crazy restaurant stories in the future, feel free to tune in over there at your

Oh my god yaaaaaaaaaaas! Send theemmmmmmmmmmmm

This is a relevant question. I’ll be running the Recipe Hub (this also means I will be writing recipe posts once per week. Pray for mojo) over there, so you can go there directly if you want, but anything I post will automatically jump to the homepage. Wonkette’s platform doesn’t work quite like Kinja, where things
