Last Night in Soho has been my most anticipated film for awhile now as it stars two of the best new actresses Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie & Anya Taylor-Joy. I’ve loved or enjoyed every Edgar Wright picture too, so I’m hyped!

Nicholas Cage’s hand monologue is hilarious too. Great dramatic acting from everyone, especially Cher too.
It actually looks pretty good, like a more erotic Novitiate or Disobedience.
I revisited Moonstruck recently and I think she had the best dramatic performance easily. RIP
I hope Taylor Swift sweeps The Grammys. folklore & evermore are beautiful
The Boston Strangler is one of my favorite films! The crazy editing, intensely cold and deranged performance from Tony Curtis, the methodical investigation. It really was ahead of its time.
Emma. is still my favorite film of 2020. Anya Taylor-Joy can play anything. She’s both the posh busybody and an endearing young lady trying to find herself.
I love that John Williams score too.
I completely disagree. Chris Columbus directed the best Harry Potter films with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone & Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. I could say that John Williams’ composed his best score ever for Sorcerer’s Stone as every note feels memorable.
I like Mark Wahlberg in The Basketball Diaries, Fear, The Perfect Storm, Four Brothers, The Departed, The Lovely Bones, The Fighter, & All the Money in the World. But, after his racist attack on an elderly Asian man, I don’t see the need to cast him in anything anymore.
I just want to see this for Adèle Exarchopoulos!
In the Mood for Love
1. Emma
As fun as The Poseidon Adventure & The Towering Inferno are, I’d say Robert Wise’s direction and George C. Scott’s performance make The Hindenburg my favorite disaster film ever.
Cocoon really stayed with me. He was wonderful.
Oh, I love Tropic Thunder! I always forget it exists.
Robert Downey Jr. was incredible in Chaplin, Zodiac, Iron Man, & Sherlock Holmes, but I hate nearly everything else he’s ever been in. He just doesn’t care anymore.
I loved The Farewell, Marriage Story, Ad Astra, Shadow, Booksmart, The Irishman, Joker, Fighting with My Family, The Art of Self-Defense, The Peanut Butter Falcon, & Glass.
I just listed some of my favorite shows from this past year. Not sure why that’s so funny.
