Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt

Rachel McAdams is definitely how I heard about Disobedience. I also really like Rachel Weisz, but Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite actresses.

Disobedience (April 27th) is my most anticipated film of 2018. It looks so good! The director is highly praised as he did A Fantastic Woman, which just won the Oscar, so I am even more hype!

Rest in Paradise, Craig Mack!

Trainspotting’s soundtrack is as brilliant as the film. Too bad everyone ignored the incredible sequel.

The Shape of Water earned Best Picture. I’m so happy for Guillermo del Toro.

Fu Manchu just put out their new Stoner Rock/Fuzz Rock album Clone of the Universe. Check it out!

I thought Aubrey Plaza should have got an Emmy for Legion. I’m glad she’s getting recognized for Ingrid Goes West at least.

I hope The Shape of Water sweeps The Oscars.

I’ve been listening to Alexandre Desplat’s soundtrack to The Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro. It’s a beautiful mix of classical and jazz.

Just saw Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water! By Cthulhu, I hope it wins Best Picture at the Oscars (though I would not be mad if Lady Bird won).

Kanye West, Pusha T, Anthrax, My Bloody Valentine, & Juicy J should all be cool.

Go watch Legion. Best show debut of 2017. Some of the most innovative cinematography I’ve ever seen. Excellent and creative acting and engaging writing. It’s mind bending!

4:44 is still my album of the year. Nothing surprised me like Jay-Z.

T2 Trainspotting is the best film of 2017 by far. It, Split, and The Beguiled were also not ranked in your lists. Glad Lady Bird and Baby Driver made the cut.

1. T2 Trainspotting

D+ is pretty generous. Revival is Eminem’s worst album.

I nominate Danny Boyle’s T2 Trainspotting finale chase sequence from the club where Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) & Begbie (Robert Carlyle) recognize each other in the club bathroom in the funniest bit of the year followed by the most intense and harrowing chase sequence of 2017. This leads into the most underrated

It’s nice to see Julien Baker, Vince Staples, & Kendrick Lamar represented here.

Julie Marohs’ Body Music is probably my favorite comic from this year. It’s a nice follow up stylistically to Blue Is the Warmest Color. She really dives into different forms of love in a modern age. It’s very touching.
