I enjoy the occasional trip to the local mall because my fiance has a car. But I wouldn’t necessarily find it worth spending the money for a rental car to do. I also feel like the money spent on a car would negate any savings on a haircut.

Ack - no! Suburbs are hard to navigate, require a car, only have restaurants that are bland tasting chains, and are generally just a suck on the environment. Plus I find them stressful. No thanks.
Im all for escaping the city for something that makes sense, like say going hiking or visiting friends who live outside the city. But doing it simply to take in the splendor of a strip mall and eat a mediocre version of a meal I could walk or bike to, sorry there's no reason for that.
Every now and then, some Che Guevara-wannabe on Reddit writes some impassioned “Guardians of the system, unite! Throw off your chains!” manifesto on the Destiny boards that sounds very similar to the original #NoApexAugust Reddit post mentioned here. They’re met almost universally with ‘lol, lmao’, ‘touch grass’, and…
I can’t help but think that if this had worked as intended, “troubled game experiences massive player dropoff” is likelier to get the game abandoned than fixed.
How about we just get cosmetics by playing the fucking game we bought? I read a lot of nonsense about "the way things are" and it's bullshit. We shouldn't have to pay extra for this kinda stuff
Same, as far as loot box mechanics go, I thought Overwatch’s model was much more agreeable than both many that came after and the many MMO gachapons that preceded it. Having a guaranteed box every time you leveled up, which as a so so casual player only took about 2 hours, was pretty nice and that’s on top of the 3…
Very much this. Just from the facts of the case, I was actually surprised this wasn’t a pro se claimant, as the allegations are pretty immediately absurd. Shocking even more to see an actual firm, not just a solo attorney, attach their name to it. I’m sure Procopio will enjoy their SEO being tied to this case for a…
The answer to all of your questions is: social conditioning and some people’s inability to free themselves from it.
Situations like this are always fascinating.
Why are people afraid that having an attraction to someone who isn’t obviously strictly cisgendered of opposite sex will make them gay? This raises a lot of questions to me:
I used to work with an engineer named Harry Boner. People would always assume it was pronounced “bon-ner” and he would correct them.
Looking into this, I’ve found the Baby Dam. This may help.
Underground acquifers don’t refill directly from rain water or irrigation run off. I’d bet more than a few of the farms are pulling from them and not surface water.
Its pretty cool that they got someone who looks just like tony hawk to jam with them.
Don’t know about this - Drake is taking just as much, if not more, flack for being atop this list and then trying to defend it by saying that it’s OK because there aren’t other people on his flights.
Just to clarify, are you suggesting that she did not, in fact, take the most private jet trips this year, and that these bloggers are lying? Or, she actually did take the most private jet trips this year, but each of her 170+ trips was an attempt to escape this warzone you speak of, and each time she discovered,…
I love imagining some little girl in ABQ years from now thinking these were great people from her town, only to be told naaah the best we got is idolizing two drug dealers from a really good TV show that made ABQ look like shit.
I’m sure Tuco would love a statue with his favorite uncle.
This is outrageous.
How about commemorating all of the hard working real life meth dealers, Albuquerque? How about them?
