Well, no, no they’re not.  All slideshows suck.

It needs to be an assortment, otherwise you’re looking at days of eating the same thing to use it up.

I often do a coffee gift basket for my grandparents from their favorite place out in california. (We are on the opposite coast where this shop doesnt have any locations) I have it a variety box of beans shipped to their house for christmas every year and they adore it.

One of my favorite things to do is to buy several boxes of really fancy tea bags and give people assortments of flavors so they can taste various things. It's not always possible to buy a sampler box with different flavors in it so it can be a nice treat.

I was once visiting a friend for her birthday. For her gift, I got her two of those Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory candied apples with lots of goodies stuck to them and damned if the things didn’t take up as much space as a pair of men’s brogues in my poor over-stuffed backpack.

Get a banana. When the thing is starting to get ripe, put it with the pears. Pears will finish ripening faster.

I get that food gifts are often something bought for someone you don’t know very well, but I think this comes down to another case of “know your audience”. I am not a vegetarian, but also not a sausage person at all (or a huge meat person in general, especially red meat). I often eat vegetarian purely out of

This is my problem with the push for diversity in games.

Yeah, I’m really itching for the SDK to come out. A buddy of mine and I started working on a crank-based game in Lua around when preorders were announced -- which is now sitting around in GitHub a third finished while we wait to be able to do some real playtesting.

I’m a fan of preserved rare food items like special ethnic and geographic oddities from places people travel.  It makes me feel more cosmopolitan.

Somehow I’m still fully on the hype train for this dumb little rectangle. I wish there’d been something other than than three months of absolute silence from Panic between when I put in my preorder and this announcement, but I’m glad they’re being transparent about it now.

I’ve been doing this for years and only once did someone decline to swap the middle for the aisle or window - we always give them the choice. Believe me, I kept an eye on the weirdo that declined swapping during the entire flight. Who does that?

I imagine the failure rate overlaps with the number of flights that are fully booked

I do this and no one sticks with the middle. It would not even dawn on me that one person would turn down a window or an aisle

For families with kids, I recommend Dixit, which operates kind of like Cards Against Humanity, but the focus is on storytelling rather than trying to make the most outlandishly offensive jokes. There are 70 or so richly illustrated cards; one player uses a single word or phrase to describe a card in their hand and the

Just spread some Bible pages on top of them. Problem solved.

Yeah, this article made me feel like I missed something.

Looks like I have luck my phone is back from 2017. That blinking LED is not something I would like to be without.

I used to enjoy this feature on my Crackberry and later my Incredible 2.  I never understood why it was done away with. A battery drainer? Seemed pretty useful on those old phones.

I bought a Sony Xperia 1 III and was very pleased to learn it has a notification LED!
