So a couple of really rich dudes buy an games appraisal website, and immediately shut it down. One of them starts his own appraisal website, and another starts a games auction website. They spend a couple years at flea markets and game conventions, buying games valued anywhere between a couple hundred and a couple

Now nobody can deny that videogames aren’t art, a way to launder money by people who don’t care about it.

I 100% believe those big game auctions last year were money laundering schemes or price fixing. Game collecting is getting expensive, but there's no precedent for a $2 million dollar NES game, no matter the condition.

First, congrats on getting on board! Skateboarders are life long friends.
I’ve been skateboarding for 48 years (I’m 58). Never quit. Never took a break. I credit the longevity with my absolute love of skateboarding and if I step on a skateboard I have full pads and a helmet. Just think, if you pad up and wear a helmet

If you’re not already drinking the pickle juice directly out of the jar with your head inside the fridge looking furtively over your shoulder, why are you even bothering with pickles?

After having learned skateboarding back when it was steel wheels on homemade boards cobbled from disassembled skates, graduating to “clay” wheels on actual skateboards to neoprene wheels, getting back on my old board was comfy the few times I have done it. However, getting on one of the new style boards is just plain

Skateboarding rules! I have recently gotten back into it after like 10 years without skating. Great video and amazing job with your skating!!

I think dabbling in freestyle is also helpful for older beginners. Since it’s all about board control and is done on flat ground, slams are less dangerous than on obstacles and

Everyone’s ignoring the obvious host solution. The same ideal host for the Academy Awards.

None of her opinions were ever misconstrued or taken out of context, she meant everything she said and wrote but then backtracked when she got shit for it

I saw her recent video about how she isn’t anti-vaccine and it’s still bullshit. She brings up valid points but then also says “Do I want to inject babies with all these chemicals and parts of cows and chickens? No!”

We all know that they are going to choose Dr. Oz to prolong our long national nightmare.

Thats my problem, she seems like a nut, but it also sure seems like her bad opinions are being misrepresented to make them seem even worse. The article doesn’t accuse her of being insufficiently zealous in pushing back against a bad opinion, its ascribing to her the bad opinion she says she disagreed with.

It was a dumb position, but it seems like she changed her mind years ago, and she isn’t being hired as a doctor.

The anti vax stuff still keeps coming up because in every statement she puts out where she claims to not be an anti vaxer, she just so happens to also say things like this:

Can we just hire Levar Burton and get it over with?

I know slideshows are not popular around here but I think it makes sense when you have a list of 32 movies and want to show the trailer for each one...

Counterpoint: every employee should have the TRANSPARENCY to know what their work is going towards. If they are opposed to the project, they should be allowed to protest their involvement by asking to work on something else or leaving the company.

Do you want to use your tools to catch bad guys?”

Um, no I don’t.

“Idk man it’s just flat out unethical to be profiting off of socialism and buying yourself a 3 million dollar home in a state that has one of the highest homelessness rates in the country,” activist Alexis Isabel wrote on Twitter this morning.
