If we’re talking MFA codes, the real question and concern is: who is creating these login systems that generate codes that don’t expire after a few minutes and/or can be reused??

This is explained in the article - that's what's in the rules of international powerlifting.

I don't use Twitter, but that would be a good idea if I did! I'd rather continue playing wordle with friends than the twitterverse though - which is what we do and I do largely enjoy!

I hear you and that’s a good take. Fwiw, my friends and I have been enjoying and sharing our wordle scores and strategies in our group chat since it came out - so things like this, definitely a positive addition to my life :)

Great point! I definitely have a very negative view of Twitter which tainted my initial opinion, but you’re totally right and that’s a great analogy.

On one hand, sure it’s a weirdly sadistic way to bully lots of people online, but on the other hand, I think it can be an indictment of social media, especially Twitter.

I think because sometimes it’s frankly unavoidable, like with restaurant takeout or even leftovers and a lot of food packaging.

But you see they have important places to go and children (or adults!) recreating in public space might make it seem like people live there and nobody wants that.

“Arrest me officer, I’ve been bad... 😉”

Genius! Only a 60% success rate though? That seems shockingly low. Like 4 out of 10 people would PREFER to squeeze between two strangers (especially two who may talk over you) instead of having a window or aisle seat??

>>Jawomo claims the app uses minimal battery life to accomplish this; the LED functionality is the most taxing, using 3% battery per hour...

Not surprised! Sony has their niches and this is one of those small but big hardware retention features they have like the dedicated camera shutter and the headphone jack.

Overwatch had high quality lore straight from the start, well before its professional league and I’d wager it helped build the community that underpins their e-sports.

I’m wondering this too - the article seemed to just gloss over what’s really happening here...

What’s special about Southern green onions? I grow them in New England and they’re even perennial! Vidalia onions though I know are specific to the south, Georgia in particular. Conversely they’re my go-to onion because I prefer em sweeter and tbh I couldn’t even imagine swapping them with green onions! o_O

Tbh I always thought marinara was specifically defined by its inclusion of olive oil. I too have never heard of butter in marinara (or any red pasta sauce??)

This. Not sure why this was snuck in there.

Even if the image made perfect, non sexualuzed sense in the video, there’s this thing called context and this tweet has none of that.

Are you saying it's a good or bad thing? I guess you could tech out everything, but sometimes the simplest solution is most effective, even if elegant - if that's what you're getting at?

Good point, I wasn’t thinking so much about the metal scraping and all 👍
