Nah, that’s just silly to go through such an effort of improving elections by making it 75% better instead of just 100% better (national holiday). If for some reason negotiations stall entirely in congress because of that one reason, sure, it’s a better concession, but if we’re gonna do it, we might as all do it right

I often do this, and completely coincidentally today, after a long mixing break, got Kookie Krisps to mix in with Corn Flakes - a fleeting substitute for my normal Chex. I love Chex on its own, but Kookie Krisps and Cocoa/PB Puffs are my two/three occasional mixers. Those are quite sweet, but importantly to me, don’t

By “money” you mean “toilet paper”, right? You totally have $7,000 in TP stashed, ready to handle the second coming 😜

I don’t respect his family trying to cash in on his quasi-internet fame just to pad their pockets and make their lives a tad easier, but I would respect if they at least feigned to want to try to continue this legacy of his.

I’m not saying this in complete defense of police and all the other inefficient systems we built, but deriding registration enforcement for being exclusively menial revenue boosters isn’t particularly fair. Registration is tied to insurance, and in many states emissions and/or safety inspections, which again, you can

That study seems real off to me, but at the same time, it’s probably not fair to think it’s crazy wrong but because it doesn’t “feel right”.

Wow I remember this game, what a throwback. I loved Lego and had the complete first gen Harry Potter collection. Definitely remember this game positively now that you mention it.

To further that great analogy very slightly, air bags are actually “Supplemental Restraint Systems” - you may have seen the acronym SRS on your dashboard, etc...

I can’t believe I watched a 25 minute sudoku video but that was 110% worth it. Great find and great share. That guy is so clever and I love how he explains everything - which is almost even more impressive considering how fast his mind is moving but still able to slow down to explain each and every move.

Ugh. These people with the number responses really peeve me. If you want to negotiate, fine. Have some decency and maturity to say something even as simple as “will you take $20?” I get that “20" gets the same point across, but you’re a stranger who I will assume is an idiot unless proven otherwise and I don’t want to

To be honest I was pleasantly shocked from the article that some schools actually refuse bus service if you live super close. I’m sure it’s not hard to get an exception for disabilities, etc but still that’s a great precedent to set.

Straight up lie. The bamboo handle is biodegradable but the nylon bristles are not. Don’t say “totally” if you don’t mean totally.

Re: credit card offers

As ironic as that is in the short term, politicians have the power to make a lot more of a positive difference on a mass scale but if they can’t get awareness from the masses, even just simple name recognition, they’ll have a zero chance at making any mass difference which can vastly outweigh the petty waste of flyers

Another +1 to hopefully ungray you... FreeTaxUSA is also another free legit option (admittedly sketchy sounding). Can’t recommend CreditKarma anymore now that Intuit just bought them...

👏👏👏

My main example was anecdotal from my only experience so far buying flights - it was international and multi-city so a fairly complex one with high potential for variation - and in that case I saved literally $500pp by getting it on Fareboom than every other site. It was enough to make me wary and my gut thoughts

Appreciate your pragmatic look at this. I’ve only had the Reserve for a year - a big travel year - and I’ll just add too that buying hotel rooms and airfare through Chase is going to cost more than on virtually any travel site. So you can get a free hotel room with your points, but if you got it from a different site,

I’ve always been one to look - and often wait - for a deal, and I still do it today out of habit, but let’s be real: it’s ok to pay a little more money sometimes if it means something to you. If you can afford it particularly, accept it and do your best. Give smaller businesses a chance and heck, even give other

This. Plus another reemphasis on the disgusting environmental impact of shipping something, fully intending to send it right back.
