Ahhh that makes sense... But the serpentine belt will only run in one direction so why would the steering wheel reverse direction? Would the belt slip on the steering shaft, the steering shaft auto-correct itself (back to center) for a quick half a second, and then this just happen on repeat?

I used to have this theory that every car was made better with a convertible top. I know, handling and structural rigidity, blahblahblah, but for normal driving on a day with good weather, nothing beats the sun and the wind.
