Alliteration!

Going solely by the cast list and what we've seen from the trailers (that this is primarily a sequel to all The Hand stuff from Daredevil and Iron Fist, but mostly Season 2 of Daredevil) no one needs to watch Iron Fist.

Whenever Iron Fist isn't on screen all the other characters should say, "Thank God. He's a moronic asshole."

No one needs to watch Iron Fist. All the characters, concepts and arcs crucial to The Defenders are set up in Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage except for Iron Fist and his girlfriend.

Who plays Ernie?

I'll be over here rocking back and forth and muttering, "The X-Files ended with Season 8. The X-Files ended with Season 8." through the tears.

It'll be the ER of presidential administrations. By the end there won't be any original cast members left except for occasional cameos by Kellyanne Conway.

Fingers crossed for posthumous Nimoy.

I think Mom (China) and Dad (Russia) are going to stay out of it in order to teach little Donny a lesson. *sigh* We're f—-ed.

This dipshit's going to get a lot of South Koreans, North Koreans (it's not their fault that their president's a nut job cult leader), Japanese, Canadians and Americans (it's not our fault that our president's a nut job cult leader) killed.

He's smeared the good face of Tom Baker for far too long.

Behold and despair. Be sure to check out Ernie from Kinja's responses. He sure was… something. PR is not his strong suit.

I was short-lived, but it was glorious. Like Hannibal.

Well, The AV Club's going to dissolve after the Kinjapocalypse anyway, so they might as well. I'd be there in a heartbeat.

All the Disqus comments on the site are allegedly being ported over to The Kinja Club. I think they're getting rid of any evidence of Ernie's incompetence/douchbagery before the port so they don't immortalize it forever.

"That's a load of nonsense, and I will preemptively nuke ClickHole."

Bill Hader for The Mooch.

Malevolent bumblefuck.

I'm really hoping it continues to get good reviews and that they've managed to pull an Ouija: Origin of Evil with this. I wonder what shitty recent horror movie will produce a surprisingly great prequel next.

Oh, okay. The channel that worked with NBC to save Friday Night Lights.
