There’s a group from Oz I came across on Facebook. 4wd in Western Australia (www.4wdinwa.com). They are all about overlanding and reporting on the mods they’ve done to their rigs. Mostly 70 series Land Cruisers, some Patrols, and others. Great stuff. Here’s the link to their YouTube channel.

As a city official (NOT anywhere in the San Francisco bay area), I have two questions. First, is SF’s bid simply predicated on getting the NFL fan experience and all the crap that goes along with it, since the stadium is no longer in their jurisdiction? Because the game will be played (obviously) in Santa Clara, who

Completely agree! Trying to hold onto my stupidity, er I mean my youthful optimism as the sands of time drift along, lol!

I need one of those “Childish in Car” stickers! Looks great!

Just remember that back end, porpoising up and down for most of the movie. Plus backfires!

It was actually a Mercury Marquis, but the principle holds.

Oh man I love these! Which says a lot, because this isn’t my favorite generation ‘Lude. The ‘86-’87 Si’s, loved the smooth look. Not as low as this one, but cleaner, IMO. And I really dug the ‘92-’96. That wedge-y shape just worked for me. A co-worker had a bright red ‘92 Si 5m at the same time I had a ‘96 Integra LS

Oh I loved these from the first moment. My best friend’s dad was the 4th person in California to buy an SC when they first came out (a 1992 SC400, identical to this one).

This story and video made me irrationally happy. Maybe you ARE turning left. You may WANT to go right, but the car wants to go to the left! I’m dying here!!!

I especially liked the Aventador-esque tail the snow created.

Currently living in Fort McMurray, I can appreciate this statement.

Well, I suspect the size of the truck will limit the ability to cram an LS into it. Something cheap with lots of go fast parts available. Knee-jerk reaction would be a Honda B-series, except there would be no low end torque. Toyota 3.4 might be a good candidate, as would the various Nissan VQ engines. Not sure what

Great questions, but I did not see a key one asked (granted, it could be hidden in the pending replies). So. How in the hell did this not happen in Floriduh?

Now playing

Ok, first of all, our own mama of the Puffalump posted the damn article, and I would happily beat down anyone who doesn’t give Stef cred for being a better racer than most of us (certainly waaaaay better than me!). Beyond that, I didn’t see it posted, but I’m sure it’s hidden in some of the pending comments. I’m just

Yes, and it actually serves a twofold purpose. Excellent traction under the tires, and the added weight in the trunk will help with the traction at the rear of the car (downforce, yo!). My sister went to school at the University of Wyoming, and learned that trick very quickly.

The musical choices absolutely put the topper on this video! Between the near Keystone Cops bit and the Freedom bit, excellent scoring!

Oh I know. Because I follow you on Twitter, I’ve been following the #WhatsOnTheVantage tag since he first posed the question. Loved what he did with my Lion suggestion!

Well, at least the only thing that could go wrong with it then is a dead frozen battery. Or slow leaks in the tires. Or cold-soaked electronics. Or melty water seeping into cold-soaked electrics. Or seeping in through frozen rubber gaskets. Or rust. I’m sure I missed one or two. Quick, what ISN’T covered by your

McMike, this may have been my favorite #WhatsOnTheVantage. #COTD

I’m impressed. Based on the headline and the tease preview, I fully expected this to be a Torch or Orlove gig. Nicely done. We want vid of the snorifto action!
