Was in Vegas this past week. A friend saw Matt Damon and a film crew doing their thing in the Aria last week, and the Strip is listed as partially closed from the 16th to the 25th for a “special event.” Here’s a pic I took on the ped bridge crossing from Planet Hollywood back to the Cosmopolitan showing the Strip

Try Mexico. Lost track of how many mordidas I’ve paid going between San Diego and Ensenada or San Felipe. Still, beats a weekend in a Tijuana jail!

And with that I shall wind down the evening on Autotrader, looking at Evoras.

Glad he seemed to come through it “relatively” unscathed. That being said, the funny part was the fact that both he and the bike spun around so much that he had to ride in a circle for a bit to reorient himself to which direction he needed to go. Good on ya dude!

Concur. Just posted my own argument. Antenna and mirror arms and caps match the media pic, unlike the Taurus.

Not a Taurus, the mirror is all wrong and the mesh size doesn’t look right. Plus, the antenna on that gen Taurus was mounted on the rear fender. I actually thought it was the pseudo Taurus Ford 500, but again the mirrors are wrong and the grille mesh didn’t size up correctly. I think that the Sedona argument is

Thank you for finding goofy shit like this. Torch, you are very special.

Because of the tall ass, this rear 3/4 view makes me think of BMW X4.

With an Emory sticker and an Oversand permit?

Doug, because I DO follow you on Twitter, I did know about the question about the Skyline. But seeing the question actually being asked? Oh man that is just priceless!!! Thank you Doge Murano for convincing people that buying unreliable cars and writing about them is a viable employment path!

I like where your head’s at, and I totally agree that the GT350 should be the donor, particularly for the MR suspension (it would certainly fit with the Lincoln Drive Select CCD suspension ideas). And while my first thought was the 5.2, here are 3 reasons why I don’t like the 5.2 for the Mark X. First, even if the 5.2

Just give me a proper Mark X LSC based off of the Mustang IRS platform. If Lincoln really wants to be an entirely EcoBoost lineup, make the base engine the 2.7L EcoBoost TT...it’s already set for RWD from the F-150 configuration, and the 400hp 3.0L TT as the LSC motor. Might take some reworking, but you gotta do it.

Doug, I have to agree with you. I dig the Ridgeline and think it would be/could be a best seller. Except for the fact that the vast majority of pickup truck buyers do exactly what you said: buy what they want instead of what they need. For their sake, I hope Honda sells enough to justify the business case for it.

I will ask the obvious question. How in the hell did this NOT happen in Florida?

Technically this is the tenth generation of the Continental, so around these parts feel free to call it the Mark X, because that just sounds awesome.

My thought exactly. Can’t wait to see it in a black with limo tint. Better yet, that dark gray that was everywhere back in the 80s and 90s.

Must say, I am rather digging on this!

I like that Avalanche Gray

Hybrids first started to take hold in the US in the late 90s with the original Insight, followed closely by the 1st gen Prius. Back then and throughout the “aughts”, hybrids were definitely a “look at me” fashion choice. I’ve gotten the impression lately that people had (somewhat) moved beyond that superficial

I am genuinely impressed. As Tom McParland and others have noted, I’m extremely surprised that Honda or Toyota in particular (being the hybrid kings) haven’t come up with a hybrid minivan yet. And with the styling on top of it, that is a helluva mic drop! If Chrysler can make it actually drive well (handle, not feel
