Oh I know, and as city planners we try desperately to fight against that type of development, particularly when it is likely to overwhelm and result in weird conflicts between new residents and pre-existing uses and conditions. Pretty damn sad.

As a city planner, we really aren’t that stupid. So I’ll leave this sample of what we deal with right here.

Newsflash. She moved to Oklahoma from Florida.

Came here to post the Singham clip. Was not disappointed. +1

Glad to know I’m not the only one...

#COTD! It’s early but you win the internet today!

Now playing

I absolutely go stupid happy over sequential taillights! A couple months ago I caught this last gen Camaro/Firebird conversion with an awesome set of sequential LEDs. I had to chase it for a few miles, but then a fortunate stoplight took pity on me.

Gotta be the dealership experience. They really need to be separate from the mainline brand, but even if they are physically located in the same space, there needs to be serious distinction and separation between sales and service functions between the two. Part of the luxury brand is the luxury experience. Hyundai

I...I kinda like it.

As someone who spent most of 2010-2012 working on the planning and programming (meaning funding authorization) of base-related projects in southern Afghanistan, I must say that this impresses me. I thought we were wasting a lot of money building hospitals for the Afghans that they didn’t have the funds to run and

I had no idea, but now I can’t unsee those louvres! Excellent morsel of knowledge!

Nope! It’s the Miata. Because for Jalopnik, the answer is always Miata. Therefore it obviously is the only correct answer!

Please film this, Amazon! What a bombshell!!

Ummmm, one of those things is not like the others!

Gorgeous car. E39 body is simply perfection, and the M-Sport wheels and Shadowline trim bits just enhance the perfection. Nice ride.

Gotta remember tho. This is BMW. They charge a la carte for everything. The M-Sport package was primarily dirty bits and exterior trim (even the Shadowline trim was extra, IIRC), and the sport seats were a separate option (stupidly).

Holy shit that is awesome!

Close. Unscientifically holding a piece of paper for a straight edge against the nose and A pillars of the 3 pics, the FC and FD do have shorter noses than the RX-Vision, but like the SLS AMG and the AMG GT, the extremely rearward-set passenger compartment accentuates the long hood perspective.

Agreed, but I’m not a huge fan of the SLS. I like it better than the AMG McLaren, but it’s still a little nose-heavy for my taste. Just a personal preference.

All three generation RX-7s. Loved every one. Never found the love for the RX-8, tho. And as awesome as the FDs were, I’m too much of an 80s wedge guy. Give me a ‘91 FC Turbo II.
