Good point on the “mid-engine” element. It will be interesting to see how Mazda incorporates both turbos and hybrids into the whole Sky-Activ thing.

I get the whole long nose short deck styling language, but for a vehicle using a rotary engine, one of the more compact engines around, this seems a little extreme. As other commenters have noted, very Aston-esque, and I would expect to lift the hood and see a V12. Definitely want to hear more about the SkyActiv-R,…

And that is exactly the one thing I hate about the Hennessey Velociraptor they’ve been selling based on the last-gen Raptor. Awesome concept, but because the rear windows only seem to align with the dropped part of the beltline on the front doors, it looks awkward in profile.

So get the Infiniti G35. Same powertrain (including the 6m option), same basic chassis, an almost functional back seat, and much better looks. Total win.
