Dear Nissan: Fuck yes build it!!!

Yeah, the wife told me pretty much the same thing. Unfortunately, having already done the "move yourself" thing once and achieved the "never again" status, we held true to it and paid movers to pack up our stuff. That just left suitcases and two dobermans to cram into our F30 328i. Worked surprisingly well.

Balls of fucking steel. Growing up in San Diego, I've witnessed first hand more brush fires than I care to count...and generally from a safe distance. They do that, go into and through the flames because they have to. Much love and respect to all the firefighters, EMS and first responders out there.

Presumably (shockingly?) they don't seem to be Americans. If they are French, it's nice to see an example of where we are not as much of an asshole as a couple of French dudes.

So much awesomeness! Great job!

Hhnnngnggggnggngngn! So much want!

We have one of the last gen Impalas in our fleet...an '09. Everyone calls it the couch. It is the least comfortable vehicle to drive, no lateral support, no back support, no thigh support, tons of creaks and squeaks (it only has about 39000 kms on it), just a POS.

Popup headlights FTW!!

So they even got around to putting an EcoBoost I-4 into it? That just pisses me off even more! Right before the Carpocalypse in 2008, I was saying that the then just-introduced G series Falcon should have been Ford's primary midsize platform. http://hereshowiwoulddoit.blogspot.ca/2008/05/ford.h… The basic Falcon would

Awesome article, and really made me miss the Tomcat once again. Growing up in San Diego, I had plenty of friends whose parents (ok, fathers) were Tomcat pilots or RIOs, so I had plenty of exposure to the F-14 even before Top Gun hit the theaters. But to see that movie, particularly at the very first shot of the

It used to be (T5 for turbocharged 5 cyl and T6 for turbocharged 6cyl, but like those pesky Germans, they seem to be using those designations to describe relative output levels now (T5 is not as powerful as a T6, etc).

Strippers, obviously.

OMFG I love these!!! Timing is not right for this one, but putting it on the list to consider for importation.

Oh I absolutely agree (sez the guy whose wife is driving around in a 2.0T 328i).

I'm not certain, but my suspicion on Patrick's comment about a 340 reminding him of a V8 goes back to the historic Mopar LA V8 engines (273 ci, 318 ci, 340 ci, and 360 ci). That was my first thought, anyway.

Before I even got past the headline, my thought was exactly what you came up with. Yes, the Miata is inherently an enjoyable car (fun fact, I worked at a Mazda dealer in the summer of 1989 as a lot attendant...when the Gen 1 Miatas first arrived! Holy crap were they a blast to drive!), but its overall nature lends

True, and I get the thought behind it. Unfortunately, Volvo's recent history dictated that a "T5" referred to a turbocharged 5 cylinder, and a "T6" referred to a turbo 6 cyl. If they went with letters other than "T" (say P for Petrol, to counter the D for Diesel), it would be less annoying.

Excellent results and awesome article! Love these, keep 'em coming!

Kill it. With lots of fire. And missiles. And bombs. And napalm. Lots of napalm. And sentence those responsible for this...travesty to life in a 430,000 mile Toyota Corolla automatic.
