I know a man who trusts Tesla’s autopilot but doesn’t trust vaccines.

Tesla doesn’t care if you, or your family, or anyone else, lives or dies a fiery death. And this won’t change that.

Disgusting.

“Entry level Polestar 2”

Glad to see it still has a row-it-yourself option.

Faster is NOT always better. In fact it’s almost always worse. The faster your charger, the worse it is for the longevity of your device. Batteries are damaged by heat, and fast chargers cause batteries to heat up more than slow chargers.

No kidding. I had to scroll back to the part I was reading 5 times because ads caused my phone to scroll back to the top, then logging in put 3 ads on top of each other before I could even enter a password. What a joke.

I had to do this a year ago. The Apple CS agent gave me a really hard time, required a credit card so they could theoretically charge me for the replacement (if I didnt send back the broken unit, I’d guess?) and then the replacement went just fine and I never had another issue.

I swear I’ve seen this exact post on a Kinja site in the past few years. And I remember commenting.

Hell, my local Hyundai tried to pull this crap on a bone-stock Elantra GLS a decade ago. They wanted a several-hundred-dollar “non-refundable reservation fee” that wouldn’t even be applied as a down payment, too!

I obviously told those bozos to go pound sand and bought same-day at the dealer across town. It was a basic

Is this an #ad? It sure reads like one, since Honda’s lawnmower division has nothing to do with cars, automated lawnmowers are decades-old technology, there’s zero context other than a marketing video. Also, you use the term “Roomba” three times when this is clearly NOT an iRobot product.

Here’s hoping it works... Its incredibly frustrating to have a controller disconnect in the middle of an online game. This happened to me several times recently, making me scramble to plug a USB-C cable to reconnect the controller. Of course the Xbox controller doesn’t even come with a USB-C cable (it does come with

Wow, I wasn’t aware that Anker, a Chinese brand, had ethical sourcing practices! Thanks for the tip - I’ll let my therapist know, too!

And for the “why be rude?” - Shilling electronics through the lens of “Wokeness” is horrifying. Be better.

I don’t care about snow on the wipers, the issue is ICE.

1) No. People are forgetful and stupid, but a lot of us take care of our vehicles and can remember to fill ‘er up.

For those still mad that they have to buy their own USB-C charger since Apple decided they were going to “save the earth” as a multi-billion corporation (eye-roll)

Exactly right. Apple’s 20W USB-C charger is also thinner so it doesn’t block other sockets, and doesn’t have that OBNOXIOUS LED on it. Anyone who puts blue LEDs on electronics should be shot.

HA! Wait, you ARE joking, right?

Every road is brined in my state, ALL OF THEM, and every road is constantly wet, and even to go to the car wash I’d just have to drive on those same roads again and be just as salty by the time I’m home.

Perhaps I could wash at home, but its well below freezing most days. I guess I could

ALL of these scummy dealer tactics rely on the fact that almost all dealerships treat their customers like crap, and they can rely on “not literally mugging you” as the low-bar to cross.
Unfortunately for them, the car world is changing rapidy, and Tex and Jimbo are going to be the next sad guys screaming “they took

Pretty sure I saw that on Reddit last March, but OK let’s trend on Twitter and then make a Jalop post today, sure.
