"If this is a Quarterly Earnings report, where are your pivot tables?"
I'm learning my lesson.
Well, Dinklage was doing a sort of cartoony (for lack of a better term) version of his voice. And…. I don't know, I can't justify my mistake.
I'm part of the problem on this one. Yeah, I took my sons to see this. My 5-year-old was so excited, and the three-year-old stood on his seat and screamed with delight at the opening chase.
Gene's song about snakes. "Where are their arms and legs!? / IT'S NOT OKAY!!"
My sons really enjoy YouTube videos of large industrial shredders crushing things like computers, beds, bicycles and cars. Sometimes, it's the simple things in life that are the most satisfying.
Somehow, I missed that - I'll need to check it out.
Yeah I like the Two-tone stuff too, just never really got into it, for some reason - because I also got really into traditional stuff like Prince Buster, Skatalites, early Wailers - had a bunch of Trojan records comps. My only surviving 2nd Wave ska CD in my collection is the Dance Craze album. Some fantastic stuff…
Hepcat is great. I still listen to a lot of the 3rd-Wave ska bands from that time, but I always preferred the ones with the more traditional sound. Hepcat, Slackers, Stubborn All-Stars and the like. Never got much into the ska-punk bands, but Skankin' Pickle was pretty good.
I thought this was going to be a TV show with Alia Shawkat. Am I imagining things?
Eddie. Mark Volman was Flo.
When I Turned Into a Martian. Or Angelfuck.
Kind of looks like Howard Kaylan.
Like a doll's eyes?
My favorite cover off that album. One of my great wishes in life is for They Might Be Giants to cover "Mr. Bad Example."
"I don't want to be your princi-PULL. I want to be your princi-PAL."
Yeah. I'm not proud of that.
D. Boon said it best, "Maybe partying will help."
Holy shit. In the video she wears a shirt that says "Self Service" - really, I don't think this is up for interpretation. She recorded a song about splittin' the kitten.
