Yep - this is extremely my shit. The slowly growing unease and well… fear… is more compelling to me than watching Rick and Korrrrrrrlllll find their way to another seemingly safe, but totally corrupt and dangerous community.

Exactly. The implied pace of the show is so disconnected from the official, compressed timeline that it seems to take something away from the character development we saw.

Somehow this is less disconcerting than the idea that nearly all of Breaking Bad takes place over the course of one, single year.
