I figured it's really well known, while "No One Was Like Vermeer" is basically concentrated post-Modern Lovers Jonathan.
Jonathan Richman's tribute to Vermeer is about as endearing, esoteric and conversational as you might imagine.
Maybe the linked track is just not doing it for me, it really does sound like something I'd find on a stock music website.

Easily one of the most underrated movies of the last decade.
