This. So many of the shows that followed the Sopranos/Wire/Mad Men/Breaking Bad run were totally oblivious to how funny they were. All those shows dealt with some of the most deadly serious issues, but for my money, they were often the funniest shows on television.

Damnit Jesse YOU PUT HIM IN THE BATHTUB?!!?!

Yes, I loved the photography in Good Time, but the amount of setups in Good Time pales in comparison to the sheer amount of range of work being done in Blade Runner 2049. It’s like Deakins was trying to cover every one of his skillsets. And the way the light and shadow move in Blade Runner is just spectacular.

Local Cuck Forced to Tattle

It’s uncanny.

I’m sick of all these potshots against Rogue One’s CGI Tarkin.

But then I couldn’t make this snarky comment. I made the right choice.

I’m sure women can probably fuck things up like us if we just give them the opportunity. Women can do anything.

You are an asshole for writing this comment, and we all are assholes for liking it.

Oh yes they were terrific. For all that it got overplayed for use in trailers, I still really, really love that aspirational energy of “Dreams.” It always gives me a boost when I hear it.

Haven’t seen that episode, but Stern is a pretty thoughtful and intelligent guy when he sheds his radio persona.

Oh look. An edgy person on the internets.

I’m weirdly more excited about this than I initially thought. As many knocks as Letterman took about his late-career disinterest, I missed the guy and his grumpiness, especially in the era Fallon-esque celebrity sucking up.

I didn’t even know this show existed, but sure, whatever we can get from “comedy genius” Mike Myers.

Honestly, I thought the article’s headline implied they were surprised there’s a new gong show. I certainly was surprised to learn that.

I hope you realize that guy is a Russian sitting in a work cubicle somewhere, being paid by the Russian gov’t to rile up the online community.

And Support the Troops!

I’ve been looking for the right words. “Superhumanly fearless” nails it. And in no ways stupid. Just very very very realistic. His interviews before the first shuttle flight are amazing.

The sandwich was only the second best thing John Young did on a mission.

My favorite story about Young is his heart rate. All astronauts except young had really high heat rates during launch - I mean like 150's or so. His plugged along at 70. During the lunar decent Neil Armstrong’s was in the 190's. Young’s was around 90. The epitome of cool under stress.
