No. I’ll freely admit to being wrong about Louis, but the nature of the previous non-stories were crap and deserved to be called out as the rumor-mongering they were.

As far as automatically thinking someone is guilty in these situations, I tend to differentiate between when it’s only 1 accuser vs say 10 or a 100 of them.

He was a beloved comedian with a family-friendly reputation who didn’t want anyone to know he was stepping out on his wife (from whom he’d secretly been separated for several years). With the high impact these allegations have had on many famous people, I think the chances are good that there are some false accusations from people with a personal vendetta. I am wary of any one-off accusations, so unless there’s a pattern of abusive behavior from Tambor, color me skeptical.
