I would highly recommend playing every game before 6.

Now all we need is Yakuza 3, 4, 5, and Dead Souls remastered for the PS4 and we’ll have the whole series.

See, that’s kind of where I disagree. The mobile version is episodic, the first episode is free the rest are paid. Not to mention the graphics are terrible and really don’t fit the Switch, which is a console/handheld hybrid that can output graphics on par with the Wii U and a bit more, though not Xbox One or PS4

I’m also curious as to what route they’d take with a Switch version. I hope it’s not like the iOS/Android version, but I also can’t see it being a direct port of the Xbox One version with some downgrades to compensate for the weaker hardware.

Of course it’s gonna go up later today... while I’m working.

Not necessarily. Sure, it will make a 4K game look better, but there are other reasons to use 4K textures. They look better on larger objects because they aren’t as stretched out, and you can pack a lot more fine detail and depth into them. Once you apply texture filtering, then they look even sharper. XV’s textures

That wouldn’t change the size of the download because 4K TEXTURES have nothing to do with 4K screen resolution.

I considered Bioware dead the moment they revealed Anthem which seemingly has nothing I love about Bioware RPG’s. It looks like every other MMO-lite game thats come out in the last couple of years.

I imagine there’s still a fairly large and devoted fanbase for the series, so abandoning it wouldn’t be in EA’s best interests. People still want more Mass Effect. It’s just that the general consensus right now is that Andromeda could have been far better than it was, and a team that actually knew what it was doing

I bought Slime Rancher after reading about it on Kotaku about a week ago and I got addicted to it. Granted, I eventually grew bored once I had automated the feeding and plort collecting, but it was still fun while it lasted.

I remember playing a bunch of games back during the Xbox and Xbox 360 days and making a whole bunch of friends. Now they’re my only friends on Xbox Live because I don’t talk to people anymore when I play. Can’t remember the last time I wore a headset while playing online by myself.

Depends on what you consider verbal abuse. For years I was bullied on a daily basis and made to feel like less than I was for no other reason than to make the bully seem strong. Never once did they try to physically attack me, but every day was a constant barrage of insults and vitriol. And the sad part was that it

I get the distinct impression that this comment chain is going to be an endless cycle unless I say something along the lines of “abuse is abuse regardless of the form it takes and all are equally bad.”

I can sense the sarcasm. I didn’t intend to imply that abuse of any kind is good, but if we were ranking different forms of abuse, verbal abuse is nowhere near as bad as physical abuse, which can turn quite deadly fairly quickly.

I never said Cid WASN’T an ass. He undeniably is. And you can’t tell me that there aren’t people out there who can still care for someone and yet hold a very big grudge against them and never let them forget it. Shera attempted to save his life at the cost of her own, and in turn he sacrificed his dream to save her

I was with you up until you called Cid the worst character in the game using the catch-all “abusive husband” descriptor.

I actually find it more fun to play the game stealthily than to run around aimlessly until the circle gets too small. I land in a remote area that no one else does, I loot the buildings for whatever I can find, and then I slowly make my way to a good spot within the circle. I’ll find a place to hide. When enemies come

I fully expect PC to be added as a platform for the western release. But if it doesn’t come to that, then I’ll likely get it on PS4. As much as having it on the go would be fantastic(Maybe I’ll be a second copy of that purpose despite no cross-save), this seems like a game that I want more power for. Have it look as

“You know a good way this could all be prevented? If Nintendo, who always seems to have hardware shortages, made more consoles available in Japan.”

Sex is one of those things that I always want to see in games, but get generally disappointed by when it comes to the execution. Sex scenes are kind of like the filler in a good book. You can’t just skip from one place to another, there’s an in-between, and that’s generally where sex scenes fall. Are they absolutely
