Luckily I don’t plan to buy anything digitally yet. I’m getting Breath of the Wild physical. The only digital game I’ll be getting thus far is Fast RMX which comes out sometime next month. It’s digital only so I don’t really have a choice.

I’m typically on the side of the fence where aesthetics trump practicality. Sorry, but I see nothing wrong with skimpy outfits in fantasy games, ya know, because it isn’t reality.

Seems strange that there’s only 25 minutes of cutscenes then.

I watched the cutscenes on Youtube because I had to cancel my pre-order to save money and because I don’t want to get left behind on story discussions, but I have to admit, I was very disappointed that the cutscenes amounted to nothing more than 25 minutes of awesome. They were great, but taht seems way too short.

It just says “User ID.”

I said since day one that I thought the cases looked too big for game cards so small. It probably does have something to do with Nintendo marketing it as a home console so heavily in the States, but that marketing will likely change once they feel it’s a big enough success and make it the official successor to the

I’m generally a fan of games that focus more on the story and so when the game narrowed its focus to this linear path with a heavy emphasis on story, I loved it. I’m not saying it was flawless. Chapter 13 was crap and way too long and Chapter 14 was far, far too short and they wasted a lot of story opportunities, and

Note that I never said I believed them. If anything on the side of the fence that believes they were under a strict deadline and had to cut tons of stuff in order to meet that deadline of no later than December 2016 and the stuff they’re patching in is stuff that was intended for the final game, but cut and still

Expanding a pre-established story is different than trying to condense and then make sense of an original story. And if the developer is to be believed the way the story of FFXV was told was deliberate. I thought the ending was great and the last couple of chapters, storywise, were fantastic though rushed. It was

Actually if I recall their plans of each episode is to make them big enough to be considered full games in their own right. They want to expand the story and stuff which will add more playtime and value to the game, even for people who’ve already played Final Fantasy VII. I think to them that’ll justify a full price

This is the sort of stuff I hate. People become so dedicated to what they do that everything else takes a back seat. It becomes expected of them to devote every waking moment of their lives to their craft with no time for anything else, even sleep and food. And then the minute said professional steps out of that norm,

I’m not sure what lineup you’re looking at, I see plenty of Nintendo first party titles. Zelda in March, ARMS is slated for Spring(I think it looks fun.), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in April, Splatoon 2 in the summer, Mario for the Holidays. Fire Emblem Switch in 2018. You could technically count Fire Emblem Warriors this

This is great because I get to watch it sooner, but that leaves a void in Monday morning. I’m hoping Nintendo picks up the slack there, I really don’t want the annual EA snoozefest to be the first conference of the day.

For Honor is fun, I just wish the name of the game actually meant something. Duels are easily the best part of the game, but when you have three or four people ganging up on one opponent, it sucks, badly. You can defend against two people easily enough so long as you can place them both in front of you, but the moment

The process of making a port for less powerful hardware takes time. You turn off features to get the game running and then you make adjustments to it to try and see how much it can run while still being stable. For all we know the end result will look better than the screen shown here because that’s an in-development

The thing is that it all should have been in the game and the story should not have been so thin. It was more like an outline than an actual story. And there’s no reason for the game to be so grindy and originally they had said you would be able to play it alone. And admittedly you can try, but eventually, like any

Give me a complex story with ALL of the story information in the game itself, and let me play through it without ever having to interact with another human being, make it less grindy, and we have a deal. That is why I never touched the first Destiny after I tried the beta.

I’ve never really used the internet browser on any of my systems. The Youtube and Netflix apps, sure, but never the web browser because I have my computer and phone for that.

Yakuza 3 was honestly my favorite before Yakuza 5 finally released in the west. Yakuza 4 was great and all, but I just felt like 3 had a really great story and the antagonist is probably my favorite in the whole series.

I’m glad stuff like that was left intact. There’s nothing wrong with it, even if the FE series focuses on strategy. It adds flavor to the characters.
