Man, doge was (and still can be) great when executed well but holy shit they missed the boat on this. AND it still would be cringey even if they’d been on time with it.

It’s also crazy how well Schneider repositioned after that bounce. Spurgeon not only had to make that insane play, but then place it well enough to get it past him!

The appeal to “transparency” notwithstanding. Holy shit! If a reporter’s job is not “learn what powerful people are talking about in secret, and then share it with everybody else,” then I sincerely do not know what the fuck it is, or why we are supposed to believe it has any value whatsoever.

Yeah we’re all gonna have to listen to fuckin Pierre no matter who’s on the ice.

Being a Rangers fan, I feel really uplifted that goalies had to steal both games we lost. Hutton was incredible in the Blues win too.

Original Hung Jury will probably be the best PvE scout rifle in the game forever. The rate of fire + scope options + extended mag + triple tap + FIREFLY to top it off is actually impossible to beat.

I really don’t think the anger is that USA lost, it’s that they lost while making stupid decisions. Just look in net! I said it on the other story that his style “works” on the Kings because the defense knows to expect him anywhere between 1 and 6 feet outside his crease, but it’s just not built for teams cobbled

I can’t believe team USA’s ongoing insistence on Quick in net. His style “works” on the Kings because the defense knows to expect him anywhere between 1 and 6 feet outside his crease, but it’s just not built for teams cobbled together for these two week tournaments. It was bad in Sochi and bad here.

Party up with someone and have them stand on the middle platform, it takes maybe 3 tries to get it that way

Really though, from what we’ve all been reading, there isn’t much other choice...

It would never happen, but it makes me laugh to think of the Rangers trading Lundqvist for Stamkos and Callahan.

Goalie here. It’s fine dude, shooter’s job is to score and ours is to stop it. We’re way more concerned with getting snowed or hacked after the whistle.

Burneko, you are a true wordsmith and your writing is a joy to read. Whether or not your opinions are agreeable to a reader (even though they are to me), it should be impossible not to appreciate sentences like, “And a big-time mover-and-shaker is even more interesting, even more newsworthy, when he’s not a sober

You’re not wrong!

You’re not wrong!

As a goalie, I will say there’s nothing more therapeutic than smashing the net off its moorings.
