Just as we predicted, there’s still lots of people who are loyal to small cars, myself included who have simply crossed off the Big 3 off radar. I simply refuse to give into the dumb marketing of “AWD” and “ground clearance” as an excuse to spend thousands more on something that will be a point A-B commuter.

What year do you guys think electrics will surpass gasoline vehicles in sales?

The best automatic? An electric car, simply because it won’t need one.

What do you guys think of a base Honda Civic Hatch with a manual? That’s what I drive.

That car isn’t coming here either thanks to President Cheeto/Trump. Unless I’ve been living under a rock since August.

Buy a short throw shifter kit for my Civic Hatch. Shift throws on regular FK7 Civics are pretty rubbery and don’t have much feel.

Shit, I paid basically that price for a Honda Civic Hatch LX and that has less equipment. At least the Honda will be trouble free 5 years from now.

The moment I get the keys handed to me.

If those are Grackles, then this guy technically violated the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918... Also I get the hate for them but they’re just trying to survive.

I looked at a 2003 non-leather model that was in rough condition , broken a/c compressor and the clutch was going. That car was $5,700. This car might be worth it since it’s a Limited in good condition with a new(ish?) engine. I will say that people need to stop charging ridiculous prices for Bajas.

When you’ve been putting off that repair for too long....

I once used my Pilot as a garbage truck for work.

Call me weird but I actually like the sound of the 1.8 on my 2012 Limited.

As the owner of a 2012 Elantra Limited I so agree about the stupid lock horn, it’s so dinky. I never understood why the regular horn chirps instead, must be a Hyundai/Kia thing

I’m so glad I drive a Hyundai Elantra in Red Allure. Everyone loves the color and I can easily find my car in a parking lot.

Actually, I would get one if it works well, sure it’s not the best looking car but most people want something that is practical. That’s why (unfortunately) crossover sales have been taking off.

Shots fired.
I agree with both of you however, while Justin is right about how it’s idiotic to drive cars the way they’re not supposed to but I would do that if I was given the chance, and had balls of steel.

I’m impressed, that’s for sure.

Public transit isn’t very viable both where I live and where I go to school and I also hate it. I’ll take a train once a month, but no more than that. I am however, a huge fan of biking and will occasionally do 30-40 mile rides for fun so I have also started to bike to places locally. When I’m older, I hope I can

(Could someone ungray me?) I have a 2005 Honda Pilot with 135,000 miles that I got as a hand-me-down from my parents. For what it is, it’s fantastic, it’s comfortable, reliable and was paid for in cash. It’s 11 years old and it can definitely last at least 10 more with regular maintenance. However, I hate 3 things
