My apologies, but I find it depressing to look at all the polls predicting a Clinton landslide the day before the election. It is common knowledge that the public polls had her winning those states, as they had for pretty much the entire year - you don’t need me to confirm that for you.

Ok, well, both Clinton and Sanders scored in the 90% range on isidewith for me from the beginning, so add my pointless anecdote to your pointless anecdote. She has consistently scored as one of the more liberal democrats in the senate, and many people view tweaking your platform to more accurately reflect your

I think the disconnect is between two different evaluations of a candidate, one valuing their capability to do the job of President, and one valuing their capability in getting elected to be President. The people who pushed Hillary knew what it takes to be president and knew that Hillary was eminently qualified for

Could she have run a perfect campaign? Certainly, as hers was certainly not perfect. However, I don’t attribute the loss to anything she did. Rather, I see it as a society that says no matter what you accomplish and no matter what you say, it’s not enough if you’re against a man.

You mean by someone who undoubtedly won the primary by millions of votes even not including the super delegates?

She campaigned until she quite literally collapsed. She was in Ohio and Pennsylvania until the bitter, bitter end. What do you all want? Other than that she grow a dick.

I really hope Netflix picks this up, or even Hulu (I’d resubscribe to Hulu if they did). I binged on this from November 9 - 11 when I didn’t want to watch any TV. It helped me get through those first couple of days. It was inspiring and sadly relevant.

It’s really encouraging to see this coming from people who actually have power to enact some changes in entertainment.

No, because that isn’t the ONLY trauma that a woman can experience. Women are people, and just like men, we are affected by many different things. In addition, the rape of a woman is too often used as a motivator for a male character—we get to explore his guilt, his quest for revenge, etc.

Nah. Any American smarter than an earthworm realized that even a shitty center-right Democrat was better than putting a fucking dictator-in-a-diaper in the White House. Adults didn’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good and not vote for Hillary, thereby electing Trump. The Democratic Party does need to turn away

Hey, 89% is a solid B+!

but but Hillary is a girl! Girls have cooties!

Most of the people I see hoping for stray EC voters DO want to get rid of the system and see this as a good way to point out its flaws to people on both sides of the aisle. We’ve always known the EC was a bullshit system made to give disproportionate representation to slave states. What is preserved by upholding it in

I’d have loved to vote for Kasich. But I made my fucking peace with the fact that Trump was nominated and so I promptly got over the few things I didn’t like about her, and voted for Hillary.

We aren’t a democracy. We are a republic. The electoral college exists exactly for situations like this, so that a horrible person with a popular rising cannot destroy the country. I think it is a great thing.

I believe this is the point of the electoral college. If the electoral college can’t agree, and no one reaches enough votes, the decision gets thrown to the House. It may be that the House votes Trump, but they might not. Checks and balances, the opportunity to correct course. In this way the electoral college

It reminds me a lot of the Satanic Panic that swept America in the late 80's well into the 90's.

The new liberal rallying cry for the next four years needs to be “Cite your references or fuck off!”

It amazes me how incredible stupid people are allowing themselves to be. They want so desperately to have reasons to hate the Clintons that they believe some ridiculous story for freaking 4chan.

While you’re at it, might as well ask they stop selling Trump stuff.
