the accessory battery is the small one and someone probably went to batteries+ to get a replacement. they just sell generic ones where the terminals are just different enough that you wont get the leads on correctly. autoparts stores carry the correct style battery which mounts correctly and has the right terminals.

Yes, predominately because the pay scale for truckers is in a race to the bottom, as I hear it. Truckers dont make as much as they used to, so tougher to attract people into it.

To be fair, I don’t think I’ve ever seen bumper cars that WEREN’T electric.

But what if they didn’t build a second mysterious machine in Contact.  Jodie Foster never would have met the alien posing as her father!

Bridgestone makes good tires. You get the side eye if you’re putting Maxwind all seasons on.

Fair. I have Generals exclusive to Walmart on my car, which is 11 y.o. Focus. Replacing them with Michelins I had on it didn’t make sense given I’d planned on keeping the car only another year (but in the current market, who knows). It’s sad though when you see Bimmers, Audis, C- and E- class, even Lexus with Douglas,

I know exactly what you mean. I prefer to root for the underdogs, or at the very least, not one of the top 3 drivers expected to win. Nothing against them, it’s just less entertaining.

And a first down. You gotta let them go again. Thems the rules

That’s why I love Taku at Indy. He treats it with the reverence it deserves. If he’s your driver he’s either going to hand you the Borg Warner Trophy or come walking back to the pits and hand you a steering wheel because the rest of your car is strewn all over the short chute between 3 and 4.

Yup.  I still remember him banging wheels with Dario Franchitti in T1 on the last lap of the 2012 race.  Worked out well.... for Dario.

I’m OK with Sato getting this. Not only was there no one to cheer for him last year but he got booed with his first win for not being American.

You said it! Make sure you guy an efuel sticker somewhere so people don’t side-eye you. I really hope efuel saves supercars and other fun ICE vehicles. For the people movers and daily boredom factories, fine go electric if that is actually most efficient.

It really depends on where both aircraft are joining final (in terms of distance from the runway) But if both a/c are keeping a lookout for other traffic, staggering by altitude isn’t necessary. The Cirrus pilot screwed the pooch by flying too fast and flying a sloppy pattern. VFR traffic separation is based on see &

Calling him out for... discussing a video that is about a Tesla. Which is an accurate discussion of what occurs in the video.

Like you mentioned, they already have this. What the FIA are worried about is that their testing procedures are outdated, and teams have found a way around them by having their wing flex increased in a non-linear way relative to the load applied.

Both did flex, its just a matter of how much. Pause the video and click on about ~19 seconds, then click to ~23 seconds, and alternate between them. Both wing move up quite a few pixels, Id say the Merc is about 60% as much as the Redbull.

Nah. Byline on that one says Shilling.

Mulling this a bit I’m contemplating this may have been a screwup in braking too hard on a damp road by the lead car and spinning that way. Doesn’t make sense to be because of gas or cornering since they’re both FWD.

The other car was on the right and was ahead and for some reason crossed into the other’s lane. The impact was on the rear driver quarter and probably spun the car around.

Hahaha, fair point. I’d argue that he is on sort of a tear though (for him comparatively) in that he doesn’t usually start the season off very strong.
