It's not literally the olives or the specifics she's talking about. It's the experience of feeling ashamed of having once enjoyed something you now consider lame or low-brow.

ditto on everything. just not the hair.
Can't find any evidence of that statistic online. Maybe because I haven't looked in the ass you pulled it out of.
I'm morally opposed to boner pills for old dudes. Therefore, I think we have the right to see a full list of all men receiving them through tax-funded health insurance.
That's what I hate the most. It has so many nicknames and none of them are any good.
this was compiled from twitter, not a census or anything.
i'm pretty sure it was debunked on snopes.
why isn't Patrick on here? it's the worst.
I'm pretty sure that's what he's always eating in the books.
pushaw! 9 best picture nominees and not one of them is The Muppets?! Their pretension is out of control.

No best picture nom for the Muppets? Their pretension is out of control!
I think it's important to articulate that homophobia wouldn't be any more legitimate if homosexuality was a choice. Arguing over whether or not homosexuality is a choice has become way too much of a focus and it's really besides the point.
I didn't realize it was by a guy until after I read it and, yes, that did make it a little worse worse, but it was already really bad and creepy, regardless of him using "it was just a joke" like an impenetrable shield that makes it impossible for him to be offensive. He was using humor to express hatred he really…
