I doubt it's true. They've also been saying their stores are packed, but people who have driven past them say they're nearly empty.

How is the example shirt you gave remotely equivalent? That shirt is trying to send the message "Look how rebellious I am! Stick it to the man, yeah!" It has nothing to do with being less competent or intelligent or incapable of actually doing school work.
