To be fair, DA:I was a Game of the Year game in many circles, even if it did have some issues. Andromeda was a game with decent combat, but half-baked stories and characters we didn’t care about (the ones we did, the Quarians, were dropped). Anthem is a loot game with great environments and decent combat again, but is

I would hope that Bioware had enough cachet to go the route of divorce like Bungie from Activision, but you never know with EA.  They have such good properties with a lot of lore behind them in the form of comics and stuff.

Cupcake hack: remove the bottom and just throw it away. Then you’re left with a manageable bite that is mostly frosting. Which is the whole reason you’re eating that cupcake to begin with. Nobody eats a cupcake for the cake part.

Labneh is just strained Greek yogurt. So you are basically doing the same thing here

Critics and their ilk liked it, and so did I. And I would say it was a commercial success. But the general public much preferred Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Brunon Mars, and Imagine Dragons, among others. Modern Vampires came in just ahead of Kidz Bop 23.

My crap opinion, I’d rather listen to a whole bunch of Vampire Weekend than a little bit of like, 21 Pilots, Imagine Dragons, or Bastile.

    That’s just like...your opinion, man.

I have only heard Harmony Hall so far, and while I like the little acoustic guitar flourishes, I don’t like the bridge/chorus bits.

Their third album was surprisingly good, and I think it's underrated. I would never call them rock.  It's Indy pop, and for that, they are pretty good at it.

There are at least one or two 2020 NOTY bubble names in this list.

Tim Anderson bat flips will save baseball.

Does this feed into CKII at all?  Like how you can have a CKII run move into EUIV

Not everybody is in to podcasts, broseph. I've read pretty much every Drew post some he can't back except anything related to deadcasts. He typically alluded to an incident but never said brain hemorrhage was the cause.

In 2004 he struck out in only 6.6% of his plate appearances, and he hit a home run in 7.3% of his plate appearances.  And that wasn’t his record breaking year!  He swung at 12% of pitches outside the strike zone and made contact 90% of the time.

The campaign is...fine? I just don’t care about any of the characters around me other than maybe Owen. This game is as story driven as Destiny is, in that they give you “reasons” for going to shoot up baddies. But it feels like there are only like, 4 mission types.

I think it’s gonna be Jizyah Shorts in the end.  General Booty was criminally underseeded here.

Your numbers are for Federal aid, but what they are talking about on lack of government funding is state funding. Public colleges get money from their states, and states have been cutting that for years. Colleges had to increase fees to make up for this. But schools also do deserve to be blamed for trying to compete

I think that when people complain about the “right kind of black” it has less to do with color of skin and more about shared culture, history, and experience, in general. And the definition of this changes depending on where in the world you are (USA, Caribbean, South America, South Africa, etc.). People could argue

Here’s the thing, the MLB Draft is more of a dart throwing exercise than pretty much all other leagues. It takes so long to get to the majors, and so much can derail a good player, it’s rare that guys take straight-line, aggressive paths through the minors. Unlike in the NFL, NBA or NHL, where you can put a kid on a
