Because him acting in it is what made that movie bad... Had nothing to do with the writing or directing, in which he had nothing to do with. But, sure, Issac somehow owes you an apology.

Will there be a separate spoiler discussion thread?

Could be confused for meaning the scene in Mr Smith Goes To Washington where James Stewart runs around punching reporters in the face.

Yeah. They learned from The Whisperers that it really doesn’t take much to fool a zombie.

I think you’re over-analyzing the headline, friend. The headline is just hyping a (likely) reported rumor. The writer of the article itself doesn’t even make a claim like that in the article itself. But people can also enjoy feeling excitement for tech, and that’s okay - hyperbole for the sake of excitement is allowed.

Hope they make a fanless Macbook with an M2 chip sooner rather than later. My decade-old crapbook is getting old and noisy, and I don’t need a “Pro” machine. I just want a good laptop that will last forever and whose OS isn’t trying to give me a brain aneurysm

To be fair, if the CGI in question includes a scene in the commercial of a car being launched out of an explosion? I wouldn’t necessarily disagree.

I’m always willing to call out phony Hollywood stuff, but this one seemed to be real to me. Chris Rock seemed flustered and thrown off his game in a pretty genuine way. I don’t think he can act that well.

That was weird - the ladies in particular had no blood and guts on their faces!

Jesus. Cry me a river.

SO edgy, SO shocking, to make a joke about someone with alopecia.  Oh wait...alopecia is the main cause of hair loss for people across the globe...and dudes get made fun of it all day every day and nobody gives a shit...and its not an illness...  Is it mean?  Sure.  Does it warrant *literally assaulting someone*?  No,

I’m curious if an LA DA will take this up. Smith just committed incontrovertible misdemeanor battery on international TV. Whether one thinks it was justified, and regardless of what Rock thinks about it, letting him go without at least an arrest (and inevitable plea to a reduced charge) would wreak of different legal

1) Don’t hit people. 2) If you’re going to make a joke on a world stage about anyone, then check with them before making said joke.

Aaron shot the ex-assassin, not Daryl.

It's paved by self-important ivy league tech bros certain they're making change.

I absolutely loved it, but my wife and MIL didn’t like it at all.

Lol, those Scandinavian North Koreans make up at least .05% of the NK population, can’t forget about them.

The Oscars ignoring anime that is not Ghibli is nothing new. Several years ago, they overlooked “The Shape of a Voice” (also known as “A Silent Voice”) just so they could nominate “Boss Baby”

Yeah, even having read the original poem, it just felt like the movie was trying to be obtuse. And even as someone who really liked it I can understand why people wouldn’t like it.

this list is weird. none of these, aside from the green knight, should be considered for oscars. the fact that malignant is on here makes me think it’s a joke, but then they put fun movies like werewolves within on the list, but neither is oscar worthy. green knight was a great movie and was ripe with oscar bait, it
